Jenkins is swinging it lately. Nice.

That felt so good to win big against the Scrubs. I am glad we broke it open late. That was a nail-biter for a while.

    Cordero is nibbling a lot.

Thank you Craig Counsell !!! I have to admit that I would have gone with Graffanino.

STRIKE THREE !!!!! Sit Down Darryl !!

Great job by Villanueva. Let him pitch the 8th too. He looked comfortable out there.

It's only the 6th game and already I am having heart problems.

Way to go Cappy !! Take that Zambrano !!

Did you see the swing on that Geoff Jenkins homerun? It was a nice short swing and the ball just flew. Beautiful.

Thanks Mass Haas !! Any chance you could add that red angry face icon to the Official Vent Thread too? Once again, it adds to the effect of someone being furious.

I would like to request that the Official Venting Thread no longer be tacked to the top of the Major League Fan Forum. I liked it better when it was a free-floating thread that would get bumped when someone needed to vent about something. First of all, it gets your attention more when it gets bumped up. You know someone is angry and and really wants to vent about something when you see it pop up on your screen again. It had a much cooler effect that way. Second, when something gets tacked to the top of the fan forum, I am guessing that people stop noticing it and reading it eventually. You just sort of get used to it being there and so you don't really think about it anymore. By the way, can we re-name it to "The Official Venting Thread" instead of just "vent thread". I am still a traditionalist. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

It just seemed like the Brewers were swinging at way too many pitches out of the strike zone today. It was just ugly to watch.
  13. AJAY
    Never mind.

If Rickie Weeks is smart, he tries to drop a bunt in his next at-bat. We need to break Zambrano's rhythym a little.

I remember when we got Capellan from the Braves. Some of us were wondering why Atlanta was willing to trade him. Maybe they knew something.
  16. AJAY
From ESPN.com . . . The Brewers were dangling the disgruntled Jose Capellan all week, and one NL executive says: "I think he'll get traded by this weekend." One team that kicked it around: Colorado.

I have no problem with Hall swinging away. But he needed to make contact and move the runner over. This is the type of stuff they worked on all spring.
  18. AJAY
UGH. If Billy Hall advances the runner, we tie the game. So many chances tonight, but we just couldn't get that one extra hit. Very disappointing.

    2-0

Wow, Broxton is amazing. That kid can pitch.

    TURNBOW !! 1-2-3 I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!
  22. AJAY
I like Turnbow's new look. The facial hear suits him well.
  23. AJAY
No righty hitters on the bench? Is Schroeder serious? This could be a problem.
  24. AJAY
MENCH !! You gotta love this platoon so far. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Ugh, I thought Hardy got all of it.
