    Even though that attempted steal of home failed, you have to admit that this team has been entertaining on the bases so far. It almost worked.

    Luis Gonzalez has looked TERRIBLE out there so far in LF.

    Plascke might actually be correct about that issue. Luis Gonzalez was talking about how Ben Sheets is not one of those pitchers who you want to take too many pitches against because you will find yourself behind in the count very quickly and then you have no chance. I just think the Dodgers hitters were really getting fooled more than anything.

    Let's whip their butts in the night games too. Then they will have no excuses.

    I am sure if that guy was blocking my view, I wouldn't be happy. But he looked really funny from a distance. I was about three or four sections away, and it was a hilarious reminder of what kind of weirdos you will see at Opening Day.

    HOLY SHEETS !! Just got home from the game. . . There is probably nothing I can say about the game that hasn't already been said. I'll just say that besides the awesome outcome on the field, the funniest thing was seeing a super-sized obese drunk guy take off his shirt and try to start the wave. I wish a had a video camera.

    Wow, the first real game thread of the season !! Everything is starting to feel official now. I don't know how I am going to be able to sleep tonight knowing that the Brewers and Dodgers are set to square off tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait anymore.     Any chance the Brewers just wanted to get out of there and deliberately gave Nelson Cruz a nice fat one to end it? Who wants to play extra innings in that situation?

    The game is rained out? GOOD. The last thing I wanted was any of our players playing on a wet and dangerous minor league field just a few days before opening day. Let's just get back to Milwaukee with everyone healthy and ready to go.

    C'mon guys, I think it's nice that the Brewers are doing these webcasts for free. Kent Summerfeld is doing all right for someone who isn't normally a broadcaster.

    I am happy Estrada is playing well, but shouldn't he get some time off? I think he has been playing a lot (by spring training standards).

    I just saw a recording of the game. When was the last time you saw a Brewer game on TV where the network actually bothered to bring a blimp and show aerial shots of our ballpark? It was just really cool seeing those amazing aerial shots of County Stadium. It was also another reminder of how long it has been since we have played in a really big game in front of a national audience.

    I loved Major League just as much as anyone, but I think Jenkins would much rather prefer Mench's clothes to remain on. How about only removing a piece of clothing when Jenkins whiffs at another bad slider in the dirt. That should keep Jenkins more selective at the plate.
