    Just got home from Miller Park. Exciting finish, but the offense is still very alarming. I really hated the Corey Hart bunt attempts. I just never had the feeling Hart looked too comfortable up there and I wanted him to swing away. He just didn't strike me as someone you could depend on to get a bunt down. I still think Yost sometimes lacks a feel for the game, but at least they won tonight. Oh yeah . . . CORDERO RULES !!!! Thank you Prince !! BREWERS WIN !!!

    I will try to make it if possible. I may have to go to Chicago, but I am not sure right now.

    The Astros have a rookie going who was lit up last time. We have our ace on the mound. We have a great home record, and the Astros struggle on the road. The Reds lost too, and this is a chance to climb back into the wild card race. I wonder how the Brewers will find a way to screw this up. By the way, this series is huge and all the games really should be on TV. Shame on FSN and the Brewers.

    How ugly was the 0 for 5? Did he have quality at-bats or did he look overmatched?

    I was at a barbecue party, and I didn't get a chance to see the game tonight. How did Corey Hart look at the plate and in the field?

    I can't speak for others comments, but I specifically mentioned in the game thread that it was time to pull Turnbow. It wasn't hindsight. It's called learning from the past and having a feel for the game and what is about to happen.

    Two walks by Turnbow should be a warning sign to any manager with even half of a brain. It means you have to take something off your fastball to get it over the plate and that makes it easy to hit. Especially when Turnbow has a proven track record of imploding in these situations.

    How come we all could sense it, but the guy who manages the team can't ever figure it out until it's too late? It's pretty clear that Ned has absolutely NO feel for the game. We got Yosted again.

    It looks like the plan is to swing at the first pitch. But I wish Mench would have taken a few considering he has never faced Smoltz before.

    Cirillo is on the bench, Bell is in the lineup, Jenkins is starting, Hart is on the bench, and Gwynn is in Triple A I just want to scream right now.

    These are the types of games that make me want to puke. Carlos Marmol is exactly the type of pitcher who gives us problems despite his high ERA and tendency to stink it up against the rest of the league. I hope the Brewers show lots of patience when this kid starts to get wild and show poor command. Last time they helped him out by swinging at dumb pitches and swinging for the fences. They better learn from last time. And please no more swinging at the first pitch after Marmol walks a few.
