    There is not much velocity on the pitches and everything is up in the strike zone. I know he got the double play, but it still wasn't convincing.

    I know it's only three batters, but Helling doesn't have it today. I hope Ned can figure it out quickly.

    Anyone listening to the pregame show on the radio? Ned Yost is really furious about last night. I have never heard him talk this way about his team. He is still very angry. I am too.

    Did they mention where on I-94 the situation is happening? Some friends of mine are supposed to come over and they called to say they are stuck on I-94 near Racine.

    I notice the Royals have a "Grudzielanek" and a "Mentkiewicz". It must stink to be a writer covering the Royals. Those names are not easy to spell and type.

    I don't know why, but I have been going crazy all day waiting for this game to start. I guess not having Brewers baseball for a few evenings has really made me impatient. I also am juiced about being back in the wild card race, and I also see this as a stretch where the Brewers can potentially make up some ground. I really hope they don't blow this series. Time to step up and beat the teams you are supposed to beat. Make a move boys !!

    I was just thinking about the good old days when a game between the Royals and the Brewers would have a totally different meaning. Remember the days when there was never any talk of "small markets" and baseball was just baseball. I really miss those times.     I personally think they need more lights. It's a little dark in the outfield for those 9:00 games.

    I tweaked my hamstring a little during the last inning. I am already feeling better. It should be okay by next week. That was a nice win today. We looked a little shaky early on, but I like the way we stayed focused and rebounded to get the win. Great game guys !!
