    Just got home from the game. Don't even get me started on our bullpen. I just HATE those walks by Turnbow. He can never get a 1-2-3 clean inning.     Big-time hat tip to Robin19 for his pitching performance. He also got nailed by a line drive and he showed a lot of guts out there. And what an awesome catch by Houlie. That was sweet.

    Anything like a bunt hit, an error, a bad call, or a cheap homerun can be enough to mentally disrupt Zambrano.

    Maddux is the last pitcher you want to see when you have a runner at third with less than two outs. He almost always gets hitters to chase something out of the zone.

    Jamie, I am extremely comfortable in the outfield. I love it out there. I honestly don't see myself being a great infielder just because my arm and elbow are better suited for the longer overhand throws rather than the shorter sidearm throws that infielders tend to make. I can play infield on an emergency basis if needed, but I prefer outfield. I do want to express a vote of confidence for Matt (ValpoCrusader) as a shortstop. He has done a great job this season both in the games and in the practices. I have faith in both him and Razzzorsharp. If you want to change positions and all, that is fine. I just would prefer that we don't have too many guys playing out of position all at the same time.

    I completely agree. It's nice to see Ned staying ahead of the curve rather than falling behind it. 1-2-3 inning for Villanueva.
