    Considering the "must win" feel of this series, I am going to be a little testy tonight. . . I just hate that double play that Jenkins hit into. Why is he still hitting 3rd and how are we supposed to make progress without a real #3 hitter who can do something. It's only one at-bat, but I am already ready to vent.

    Uecker said the game should start at 9:00 Central time.

    There could be rain in the forecast the next few days so maybe that might be one reason they want to try and get this game in.

    HUH? Daron Sutton just came back and said that they might be able to start in 45 minutes possibly? But the little ticker on FSN is saying the game is postponed. The players were still in the dugout. Stay Tuned . . .

    Just to be clear, are you saying that we only have 5 people available for the game scheduled on Thursday, July 20th? Is that game being cancelled?

    Welcome back Tomo Obermueller (you just never know what you are going to get). With the Cardinals, Reds, and Astros losing right now, I am getting that wild card fever back a little bit. This is a great night to capitalize and gain some ground again. GO BREW CREW.

    How nice of FSN to show us a bunch of nobodies playing billiards instead of the Brewers game. It's 98 degrees outside and it's a perfect day to stay indoors. But no game on TV. *sigh*

    I just hope Weeks isn't hurt or anything. He just had 4 days off.

    I completely agree with that. Turnbow never had many clean and easy saves. Most of the time he was in jams and got very lucky to get out of them. Even though he was piling up the saves, I never felt comfortable with him.

    Blame the offense too. They didn't really do enough either.

    I can't believe we waited 5 days and this is what happens.

    I really feel like crying right now. Just once in my life I wanted to see a Brewer player do something special in an all-star game. The stage was set up so perfectly for Carlos Lee to be a hero. I really thought this would be the year. Why can't a Brewer ever steal the spotlight for once?

    Wow, thanks for the in-depth scouting report on Ben Sheets. Hopefully he will feel pain-free tomorrow. I am glad he was in good spirits again.
