  1. I had a lot of fun playing on the BrewerFan.net softball team this year, and I wanted to thank Jamie for taking the initiative to organize the team and arrange all the games and practices. It was a lot of hardwork, and it is much appreciated. I also want to tip my hat to Jimbo for all of his score keeping and updating the statistics on the website. Thanks for making this feel like a real major league experience. It was a lot more fun than any other softball team I have been affiliated with. Thanks to Brian for helping coordinate a softball team with this great website. Thanks again to Nicole for all the great food we enjoye early in the season. Finally, thanks to Iron Chief Napalm for his fine work with the softball cards. They were really nice. To everyone else, I enjoyed getting to know all of you and you were all wonderful teammates. I think we had a nice group, and this was definitely a lot fun. Great work everyone. Many thanks to all of you. - AJAY
  2. My guess is that Gwynn wasn't sure whether to go for the ball or to yield to the rightfielder. I think he was confused on what to do.
  3. I love how Cordero just decided to take over and carry the team once that leadoff triple / error happened. He looked so determined and it was clear he had no intention of seeing that tying run score. It was just awesome to see someone step up and deliver when it mattered. AWESOME.
  4. I'll be there. Looking forward to it.
  5. Coors Field has a very spacious outfield. It might have been a good night to give Tony Gwynn Jr. a start in centerfield (although Clark has been swinging a hot bat lately, so I could also understand leaving him in there)
  6. It will be interesting to see whether the new-look Brewers can play better on the road. I am very curious to see what happens. EDIT: I am also surprised Cirllio is not getting a start since he had a few days off.
  7. I had a lot of fun at the game tonight. I am happy for the new guys all chipping in with nice hits. I was also very happy for Derrick Turnbow. He really needed that save. The team really needed a win. It all worked out. Great crowd too. CERVECEROS WIN !!! Oh yeah . . . . Jenkins still stinks.
  8. Lots of guys are popping up on those offspeed pitches tonight. Milton is settling in nicely now.
  9. Cordero has arrived in Milwaukee. FSN is interviewing him now.
  10. Anyone know if the weather is supposed to get better this evening? It's raining hard and thundering here on the North Side of Milwaukee right now.
  11. According to Uecker, the Brewers bullpen is still quiet. Is Ned Yost even watching this game?
  12. I think Bush needs to just stay in the rotation and quit shuffling between starting and relieving. This is not working too well.
  13. This FSN pregame show is just brutal. The Brewers are in a playoff race and Ben Sheets is returning today, but they are too busy showing us how to grill a chicken. Why not interview Doug Melvin and talk about the trading deadline coming up? *sigh*
  14. Actually, I have a 20-game package and you can exchange unused tickets for any Monday or Tuesday game for 1 dollar as long as you sit in the terrace seats. So I was planning to save some money and go on the cheap tonight. I don't think they sell standing room tickets unless every other seat is sold out too.
  15. Wow, thanks for mentioning that. I was planning to buy a walkup ticket tonight, but I guess that is not going to happen now. It's such a beautiful day to be outside too. I'm kind of bummed all the cheap seats are gone. I was really looking forward to seeing a game after a long time.
  16. AM 1250 reported that Rickie Weeks will not be in the lineup tonight. Darn.
  17. Has Barnwell hit a ball hard yet?
  18. Melvin has got to find another infielder. Barnwell just does not look good at all.
  19. This is a very sloppy game on both sides tonight.
  20. I wouldn't mind a few more insurance runs to be honest. This is the Brewers pitching we are talking about.
  21. I know we are leading, but this is how you allow teams to get back in the game. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!
  22. I think I picked the wrong night to not go to a Brewers game. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  23. I missed it. What happened to Weeks?
