    I know it means absolutely nothing, but it is nice to finally win a game after a long time. Too bad I never heard of half the players the Brewers and Giants threw out there.

    I know it's only spring, but it seems like everyday we are behind by too many runs early in the game. The boys are just not looking good lately.

    This game reminded me of those old Brewers vs. Cubs games back when neither team had any pitching and no lead was safe and something crazy would always happen to prevent the final out from happening. Remember those games?

    The pitching has been awfully shaky lately. Once again the Brewers fall behind early in the game.

    My FSN broadcast is giving me some press conference from Minnesota regarding some civic project. At least we are getting the video of the Brewers coverage. Anyone else having this problem? EDIT: Never mind, they just fixed the audio.

    I saw a little blurb on JS Online which said that the evening game will not be on WTMJ tonight even though it was originally scheduled to be. I know Daron and Bill will have it on the webcast.

    BrewerJamie, I am wondering if we can get announcements about softball in our e-mail so that we don't have to remember to check this forum regularly. Is it possible to start an e-mail list for all the softball players? Can we send you our e-mail addresses in your EZ Board Inbox? Or do you have another e-mail address that we should write to? I hope you don't mind the suggestion.

    It didn't sound like Sheets was grabbing his shoulder or showing that he was in pain. I hope this is just precautionary.

    For the first time in a long time, I am actually NOT excited about the spring games. There are no real position battles, and I am not worried about whether we win or lose anymore. In years past, I wanted the team to win in order to make a good impression and help build enthusiasm. But now, I am not as concerned about that. All the good press over the winter and the excitement in the community has relaxed me a lot. I feel very secure about the Brewers so spring training doesn't seem to matter as much (Wow, this is what it feels like to be a contender)

    If there is a bright side to this loss, it is a reminder to Doug Melvin that this offense still has major problems.
