  1. Cubs, Astros, and Cards all lose tonight. How about the Rockies so far? 20-13 after tonight's win.
  2. That's not as bad as I thought. For some reason I thought it was more. And you're right about the homeruns. Only 3 homeruns given up between Eveland, Sarfate, and Jackson. Pretty impressive.
  3. So-so outing today for Jackson. Hasn't given up a lot of runs yet this season (3.00 ERA), but seems to be walking too many batters. Same problem Sarfate is having.
  4. Wow, Gallardo has been just dominant. 2 hits and no runs through 6 innings and 10 strikeouts. Wow.
  5. Another nice outing from Eveland tonight - 7IP, 7K's, 1ER. ERA still below 1.00.
  6. well, with de la rosa out there now pretty much means we wont see him start on Saturday
  7. I thought somebody mentioned in the Ohka injury thread that Melvin said little Ben would most likely get the start on Saturady with another pitcher being called up (but not Eveland).
  8. Hopefully Eveland doesnt make his start tonight. Unlike a lot of people here, I'd like to see him get a shot at replacing Ohka.
  9. Agreed, Hart just has nothing left to prove in the minors. And Nelson Cruz is just about at that point as well.
  10. Villanueva with a nice outing tonight, 6 IP, 3 hits, and 8 SO. Salome with a grand slam too. And what a night for Hart.
  11. Yeah, no kidding. Wahpepah has only given up 3 runs in 28 innings pitched. Doesnt seem like the most overpowering pitcher considering his SO:BB ratio, but difficult to hit nonetheless.
  12. Gallardo's season stats - 2-2, 26.2 IP 1.69 ERA 38 SO, 7 BB Wow, great start.
  13. Eveland has been lights out so far. 3 games started with a 1.06 ERA and 17 K's/2 walks. It'll be interesting to see if he can keep it going. Also, Gwynn hitting .333 with 6 doubles and 16 rbi's in 16 games. Great start for him so far.
  14. Man, if Santos is on this team next year, I'm gonna scream.
