    The constant threat of storms every day in the summer is annoying. Can we just send our top prospects right from Appleton to Nashville and skip over this Southern League crap?

    Nice, long AB by Frelick but you could just tell he was either going to walk or pop out weakly somewhere.

    Yeah he has yet to hit for an XBH in June. I know our expectations are high for the kid but it would be nice to see him hit for some power in the air more consistently.

    Signing Lara to an extension would be an unexpectedly nice surprise as to why he’s been absent!

    This is fairly typical, unfortunately. These minor league guys will just all of a sudden go missing for days or weeks and we won’t hear a thing until they’re back. Not sure if it’s a Brewers thing to be this tight lipped about injuries or if this is pretty typical across most organizations.

    Guy just needs to stay healthy. He hasn’t stayed consistently healthy since the Brewers drafted him.

    I'm not trying to start a debate about whether Mark A is just hoarding money every year but are the owners of teams like the Brewers and Pirates essentially admitting they have a lot more money to spend but simply choose not to spend? I'm assuming all owners are in agreement of the $171.2 million floor? That's a good $50 million more than what the Brewers typically spend in a given year.
