  1. Cirillo is really in trouble then because he's hitting well above .300. No wonder he hasnt been getting any starts lately. All he has to do is get that average down in the .260 - .280 range like everybody else and he will earn himself some more starts.
  2. I dont have much confidence in tonights game. Bush has been struggling and were facing an ex-Pirate in Fogg. Same friggin line-up tonight as well.
  3. Also good to see Braun with some power since joining the Huntsville squad - 11 doubles, 6 homeruns, and 18 rbi's in 29 games.
  4. Is Salome hurt? I haven't seen his name in the box score for a few games.
  5. No, but he can strike out swinging.
  6. Braun has lifted his batting average over .300 and also hit a homerun tonight. Iribarren continues to hit and is now at .335. I know its way early, but I wonder if we'll ever see Iribarren and Braun manning 2nd and 3rd for the Crew in the future.
  7. I have a feeling the venting thread will be busy tonight.
  8. LOL, thanks, I needed something to make me laugh.
  9. I just want to add that this is the worst baserunning team in all of baseball history. Thats all.
  10. Gwynn has earned himself a start sometime in the near future.
  11. Who do you think we'll see batting lead-off then? Clark?
  12. So far Gwynn just looks like he belongs in the big leagues.
  13. Iribarren and N. Cruz continue to tear things up. Other than that, pretty quiet night in the minor leagues it seems like.
  14. Heck no, you'd be crazy NOT to think that way
  15. Could Brady be any slower? 2 outs and a ground ball hit to right field and you cant score from 2nd base? Goodness.
  16. Nelson Cruz now batting nearly .300 with 19 hr's and 71 RBI's. He's pretty good.
  17. Ho-hum, another pinch hit rbi for Hart.
  18. Exactly, that whole thing frusturates me beyond belief. The kid has done nothing but hit and yet he is still lucky to get 3 at-bats per week.
  19. Some of the blame has to go to the offense for just laying down after scoring some runs. Two games in a row we scored runs early and then pretty much stopped trying to hit after that. But that being said, the bullpen sucks big time.
  20. Anybody else think Iribarren is due for a promotion? He's been on fire for quite some time now.
  21. I think this team has already set a record this year when scoring 1 or more runs in an inning and then our pitchers giving it right back in the other teams next at-bat.
  22. It seems like the Cubs just want it more. Our offense is making Glendon Rusch look like an all-star. I agree with the above poster that we need to add another bat in the line-up. Someone who isn't swinging for the fences in every at-bat. Well, its almost 3:00 and I will be tuning into the futures game to see Gallardo.
  23. Our inconsistent offense is beyond frusturating. But that's what happens when you've got a line-up full of guys looking to hit a homerun in every single at-bat, no matter the situation. Even a split in this series is a huge disappointment.
  24. He wont pitching for a team in Florida. It rains too dang much down there.
