Brewers get 3-2 series win over the Phillies. Teams combine for the most runs scored in a 5 game series. Ever. Tampa 4-3 over the Angels. Errors win this series. Brewers 4-0 over Dodgers.     I have been putting this off as I respect the mods of this site and the posters on lambeau leap, but I feel that I must post about the recent phenomenon of MODERATORS posting about football related topics in the off-topic forum. I realize that they are short headlines on what is being discussed over at lambeau leap, but I feel it also says that it is ok to circumvent the football talk only at lambeau rule. Sure these threads basically are a link&lock over to lambeau, but to me it states that mods can do what they want if it involves a particular interest of their own. I would like the tease&lock posts to stop as a) brewerfan is for baseball and it's off-topic has been clearly stated to also not about football, and b) it isn't particularly helpful to establish a rule, then have moderators break it. The thing I enjoy about brewerfan is that I feel a connectedness and unity with the community, and to remain within this community i obey the rules. The current link&locking in the off-topic brings to mind shades of Animal Farm; "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal then others.".

    The first thing I thought of after reading that your wife had purchased bamboo sheets was that of course you would be cooler. Bamboo Sheets is just another fancy way of saying flooring and after you install it, you will be sleeping on it. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif To my surprise, there are actual bed sheets made of bamboo. They are supposed to be cooler, softer, and wick sweat better then cotton. Let us know how the sheets are, and what you like or dislike about them. Inquiring minds want to know!

    All I have to say is that I view Hammering Hank now in a completely different light! I thought it was a slow starter but it grew on me.
