i'm all for bringing in dejesus, i think they should try to get teahen and greinke as well...teahen could be somewhat of a platoon/stopgap player at third, or at least a good bat off the bench, though he had a bad year this past season, had a .350 obp the two before that...but i was never thinking of giving up hart, that is baffling, the guy had a bad stretch, and now everyone wants him gone? he has produced every single year, and he has one tough stretch, and people think he isn't the talent that he is? it just doesn't make sense to me, i think he would have a lot of trade value, but i don't want to see them use it

have been for two or three years, we are baseball fans, and being a fan of the game is not a bad thing, imo, that being said, we did not carry it in on sunday, thought it wouldn't be righthttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

My Dad and I like to take drinks into the games, and we always carry a Phillies cooler, because we got it for free in Philadelphia a few years ago...I've been looking for a Brewers one for a while, but I can't seem to find one, and don't really want to pay for one: I would like to trade for one, if anyone has one, this year, or a different one, as long as it fits bottles, please check my photobucket, anything is for trade, and please let me know... thanks, here is the link: http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg62/joebenson5/

i haven't been paying attention, they used to go for at least $100, possibly more, but last i saw, they went around $60, still a nice item, probably depends on when you sell it, but it is a nice one, good find, congrats!

i like the idea of jeffress being a closer, and that would probably be more effective than starting him...
  7. billyhallfan
they have had both the last two or three years

more to the point, i hate where the out of town scoreboard is, i think it should hang under the scoreboard, like where the miller sign is, or they should construct two new screens that hang over the power alleys, where some of those ads are, and just move the ads up

    hart and hardy are hilarious:

well i for one hate gwynn and i think it would be ridiculous to even think about him starting next year, or ever for that matter... the fact that the guy repeated triple a for the third year, and still couldn't post an .ops over .700...he shouldn't be considered for anything
  11. billyhallfan
he is currently a roving instructor with the twins, maybe he will do that with the brewers?
  12. billyhallfan
melvin needs to come back, and jack z needs to stay right where he is, i don't want him going anywhere, he is perfect at what he does, and let's keep it that way

why must you type like that, it takes me forever to figure out what you are trying to say... i agree with most about moving him, a lot of people were throwing a fit last year when there was talk on here about braun moving...

it seems to be about 70/30 Packers memorabilia to Brewers memorabilia. now your compliments will stop...just kidding

somehow work out a trade with kansas city to acquire david dejesus and mark teahen...i know teahen had a bad year, but the two years before that he had .obp above .350...i would move him back to third: cf dejesus ss hardy lf braun 1b fielder rf hart 3b teahen 2b weeks c kendall/rivera
  16. billyhallfan
I would decline that and let Tony Gwynn play in center. welcome to the site, you will learn quickly to never say this again

i have no problem with them not coming out, they did that on sunday, and anyone that didn't have a chance to get that, could have went to the rally on monday, they did lots of things for the fans

my dad is a pastor, and he has a service today at 10:30, and we live in lake mills, an hour west, so we will be there, probably by the 4th inning, of all the games to be played at noon, you would think they could have someone else oh well, we are giving our time to God, let's hope he gives his to the Brewers!

philadelphia hasn't given any respect for anything milwaukee yet, the brewers need to earn it
  21. billyhallfan
i hope it's suppan, and it is

not that it matters, but if it is the pic that i think you are talking about, that is not braun's "lady" this is she: http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/2674456084_af74a67083.jpg

i am trying to obtain, and i have all of the big guys and good players, everybody that played for, or was in a brewers uniform in 2008...on cards, with their autograph, in blue sharpie...i have gotten almost all of them myself, but i have some left i know of, like joe dillon... anyway, what my questions are: is there a site where i can find a list of everybody, i think it is like 45 players at least, this includes all call ups, or guys like zach jackson... and then eventually i want to make this into a plaque, does anyone know of a place that makes those? thanks for all the help
  24. billyhallfan
brewcrew5, i doubt anyone will sign
  25. billyhallfan
not quite, at the players lot, but i got him outside the stadium... i know for a fact that someone that works there reads brewerfan.net too....
