  1. Do opposing managers just not look at Prince's splits versus lefties?
  2. How about Prince doesnt look bad in this AB?
  3. Thatta Boy, get some runs, Bens got one inning left maybe two if he has a quick one
  4. Atleast his pitch count is getting a little high 63 through 4
  5. I for one think Sheet's is hurt. His fastball has lacked his normal velocity all year long. Has he even hit 94 this season? ____________ He has hit 95 consistently tonight even as high as 97 according to the speed gun, velocity is certainly not the problem, location is (edit: italicized quote to make it stand out a bit more --1992casey)
  6. It looks like the zone is small for both teams
  7. It looks like Ben is locating the Fastball pretty well tonight, hasnt gotten a curve over yet though, high in the zone, needs to get it down
  8. Sheeter retires Linden McClain and Frandsen in order in the top of the 2nd 2 by way of the groundball one a flyout
  9. Brewers go in order in the bottom half
  10. Good start by Ben Roberts - walk Winn - K Aurilia - Floyout Molina - k And another passed ball by Estrada, probably means Ben might be throwing the curve today. Or they got crossed up
  11. With all this talk of trading Capellan & Turnbow what does our bullpen next year look like? Pretty thin Cordero Wise Shouse Aquino Sarfate
  12. maybe it's Mench, Clark, Turnbow for Lieber, Rowand, and Burrell Now that would be picking up some salary, then you ship Jenks over to LA for a reliever or 2
  13. Freddy Garcia-S-White Sox Dec. 6 - 10:30 pm et ESPN's Jayson Stark says the Phillies have acquired Freddy Garcia from the White Sox for Gio Gonzalez and Gavin Floyd. Is there now a go ahead to do the deal? by the way it was on rotoworld
  14. The Dodgers are already shopping Brad Penny, according to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick. Penny has been mentioned as a possibility for the Red Sox in a Manny Ramirez deal, but nothing it likely to happen there. Some of the teams that could seek Penny include the Mets, Blue Jays, Cubs, Yankees, Phillies, Rangers, Mariners, Cardinals, A's, Astros, Reds and Brewers. The Dodgers could use him to bring in a corner outfielder or maybe exchange him for bullpen help. Source: ESPN.com This is the full rotoworld report. It seems we have some corner outfielders to spare. So it is atleast a possibilty
  15. Brad Penny-S-Dodgers Dec. 6 - 1:34 pm et With Jason Schmidt reportedly choosing the Dodgers, it's more likely that Brad Penny will be dealt this winter. As things stand now, the Dodgers have a rotation of Schmidt, Penny, Derek Lowe, Randy Wolf and Chad Billingsley. Penny's departure would put Mark Hendrickson, Hong-Chih Kuo and Brett Tomko back into the mix. Penny is owed $18 million over the next two years or $24.75 million for the next three years, making him something of a bargain in this market
  16. From the same article The Brewers were expected to offer a contract to infielder Jeff Cirillo, and talked to the Hendricks brothers about one of their clients, Jason Schmidt, but it is unlikely Milwaukee will land the free agent right-hander.
  17. The latest Mlb.Com rumors section doesnt list the Brewers as a team talking to Jason. The Cubs, Astros, Cardinals, Giants and Mariners are among the teams interested in free agent right-hander Jason Schmidt "There are a number of teams that have made very attractive proposals," agent Randy Hendricks said. "So there's a lot going on, a lot of discussions, a lot to think about. I wouldn't want to give you a timetable. Whatever I would guess would probably be wrong anyway." It appears we have some conflicting information
  18. Hey guys haven't posted here in a while, but this Schmidt rumor has brought me out of my silence (atleast on this board anyways) This would make my day (and year for that matter) if this were to happen. For Melvin to even consider it one would think Melvin has an offer on the table regarding another trade that would significantly lower our payroll. Maybe if we could sign Schmidt we might settle with a Jenks for mid level prospects or a reliever? This would be the most significant signing in Brewers history if this were to happen. I am already optimistic about this year but if this happens I might just freeze myself (A la South Park) until next April
  19. This is looking like a long long game. It might be 25-24 by the time we are done. Yikes talk about bad pitching
  20. No the 5th wins, did Prince just miss that one or what?
