    Page 4? I figured we needed a bump after snapping the 3-game losing "streak." Plus I have nothing to do tonite but sit here and post since I have to actually wake up tomorrow morning to golf...but it's worth it. Anyone play the Preserve at Deer Creek? I'm hoping for +2 or better.

    I was invited, but was visiting colleges at the time, so I had to decline. Would have been 1997. My friends said they had a good time. I want to say it was in Ripon, but am not sure.

    I'm truly excited about Jeffress now. It's nice to see performance along with development. Especially since part of development is making adjustments and getting batters out. That's how one learns how to pitch. It's too bad Rogers got hurt, it looked like he was finally starting to turn the corner last year. Here's to Mark pulling a Manny.

    i have to second that. i just got home from the Bucks game so am not drunk. i can't believe they almost came back. and to all those people who say they don't care about the nba and couldn't care less if the Bucks leave town...if they leave, we are one step closer to becoming fans of the Chicago Brewers of Milwaukee

    How about this: why not keep JDLR in? Even my girlfriend, a casual fan, brought this up. He was throwing lights out, only 18 pitches or so, and he wasn't pinch hit for, because they double switched with cirillo and t-bow. I know he has the staminal, he has been considered a starter candidate in the past if he could get straightened out

    i think it's the extreme sarcasm that is the problem. if you're really telling it like it is, then do it. i love sarcasm, but it is generally lost in the written form. go do a stand up routine, and let's see if the Brewers can break out the bats tonight.
