  1. 82 pitches through 4 innings! Need at least a couple quick ones here
  2. RBI for Prince, at least. Can't get on him too much going against Duke tonight.
  3. Let's go, Yo, don't give anything up here. Pirates lineup isn't exactly Murderer's Row
  4. I wonder if a day off for Prince would get him back on track. I wouldn't do it, just wondering. Anyone else think so?
  5. I thought Carlos was going to make me eat my words there. Nope, swings at ball 4
  6. I'd really like to see Escobar and Gomez switch spots in this lineup, at least until Gomez takes one single walk.
  7. Record: 12-11 Tiebreaker: 6+5+5 = 16
  8. I'm curious if anyone who wrote that reporter in Orlando has received a response?
  9. I've been looking for something like this for a while for Milwaukee County. Cool stuff. For anyone interested, Waukesha County has aerial images every decade going back to about 1941. It's quite interesting to see the development along Bluemound and I94 build up throughout the years (or disappear if you go backwards). You can just barely make out the last remnants of the Waukesha Beach on the south end of Pewaukee Lake. Just go to Waukesha County's website, under Land Information system. edit: also check out the two Nike missile silos that are on the current eastern edge of the City of Waukesha
  10. Where exactly would Branyan play? Would you really send Gamel back down to replace him with Branyan? I'm also not enamored with Randy Winn. Hart = Winn, IMO, and Hardy/Parra for Cain is way too much.
  11. Looking to sell two seats for next Tuesday's game in Cleveland. Asking for face value of $44 per ticket. We are willing to eat the "convenience" fee unless you are feeling generous. The seats are along the third base side. Tickets are in Madison right now, can be picked up there or on gameday at the stadium in Cleveland. We received other tickets for free after already purchasing these.
  12. 4 @ FLA (2-2) 3 @ATL (1-2) 3 vs COL (2-1) 3 vs CWS (2-1) 3 @ CLE (2-1) 3 @ DET (2-1) 3 vs MIN (2-1) 3 vs SF (2-1) 3 vs NYM (2-1) Record: 17-11 Braun 8 HR Prince 6 HR Cam 4 HR Total: 18 HR
  13. I'm sure any place on National would blow away either chain, I wouldn't know though cuz I always get chimmies or tacos. Probably, but as far as burritos able to be eaten with hands, they're quite good. Otherwise, I would say Karina's in Whitewater
  14. Oops...accidentally started early with Qdoba tonight. Rest assured this will not be the last
  15. That comment barely even calls for "Sarcasm Blue" (Crayola needs to get on that one)
  16. I went there two years ago. We stayed in Solana Beach a little up the coast. It was a nice area with shopping, dining options if that's what you're looking for. As for the beach, it was a good mix of areas with a lot of activity and some more secluded spots. The beach a little further south in Del Mar was the busiest area. For the city itself, we did go to the zoo and Sea World. Didn't see the animal kingdom. I wouldn't go to Sea World unless you're really interested in that, it was way too expensive. I will second the recommendation for the Gaslamp Strip Club and the district in general. If you want to sample some different beers, check out the Yardhouse. It's a small chain of bar/grills in the southwest with I believe over 100 beers on tap. There are, of course, the standard macros, micros and imports, but also some that you wouldn't be able to easily find around here. If you're interesting in wine, there are many wineries around the area. We went to one near Escondido that also had some offbeat shops and a small restaurant serving lunch, which was dynamite. Bernardo Winery. And yes, we did see two Brewers games while we were there. The stadium is great.
  17. Put Nomo in as one of diener's starters and we'd have 4 former rookies of the year! If you sub out Kevin Barker and put in Franklin Stubbs? Unstoppable!
  18. The neck looks like that of a man... Removing the makeup is proving difficult, I'll guess Robert Van Winkle, aka Vanilla Ice
  19. I want the Black Pepper Jack Doritos back...maybe someone has seen them lately? I will do whatever it takes to get my hands on those. Always bought a bag for tailgating
  20. Yeah, I've been on tilt all night. The only thing that saved me was the hour-long awesome premiere of Sunny. Wild Card!!!
  21. Nickname is Dika, given to me by my sister when I was younger (and for no reason, so don't ask), then adopted by my friends in college. Held a few parties at the folks' house in college, shortly after Old School was released, which were christened dika-palooza
