  1. Homer: I don't agree with his Bart killing policy...but I do agree with Selma killing policy. Krusty: Well, he framed me for armed robbery...but man, I'm aching for that upper class tax cut.
  2. Moe taking a lie detector test: Good, cause I got a hot date tonight. BUZZ! A date. BUZZ! Dinner with friends. BUZZ! Dinner alone. BUZZ! Watching TV alone. BUZZ! Alright, alright. I'm gonna sit at home and ogle the girls in the Victoria's Secret catalog. BUZZ! Sears catalog. DING DING! Now would you unhook me from this thing already? I don't deserve this kind of shabby treatment. BUZZ!
  3. Have fun and let us know if you get a chance to see any Dominican baseball. I promise I'll do my part to cheer on the Crew.
  4. I was surprised to read he also taught journalism at UWM. You would think that woud compromise his anonymity. I was very reliant on his reviews to scout new places to go. He will be missed.
  5. You actually get your results back immediately because it's all taken via computer. I don't recall the geometry being all too difficult. There seemed to be more algebra, IIRC. Also, I agree that the vocabulary is just ridiculous. If you have a good knowledge of word origins and structures, etc., you'll do as well as most people possibly could. What school are you trying to get into? I would say for most of them references are more important as long as you don't bomb the test.
  6. thank you misters Balfour and Estrada
  7. That made me laugh. But I have three replies. 1. When I was a kid, the Packers actually played in Milwaukee several times a year when I went to games, so Chicago was not closer. 2. Most people I know in the Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls area are Brewers fans, not Twins fans, and they're closer to Minnesota. 3. Chicago is in Illinois. But I can somewhat see your position, even if I disagree with it.
  8. My first thought was Hank Petchow... I'll guess Brian Eno, but I don't know who he would have inspired. Probably several people.
  9. Attended the game by myself tonight thanks to half price online tix. Good seats, good people sitting next to me, annoying behind me. The loss drives me to drink. Seriously, how can you claim to be a Brewers fan, hate the Cubs, yet be a Bears fan? Maybe I was just mad due to the lack of stuff to cheer about. Gabe, don't swing for the fences with 1 out, nobody on, down three runs in the ninth!
  10. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope Mench bats in the 9th and not Grossell
  11. burnie, that sounds like a great idea. if I was in a fantasy league this year, I would probably steal the idea and convince the others to do that.
  12. That's what I like to hear!
  13. Sounds pretty good. Have you ever tried making an IPA? I would imagine that's quite strong at home as well.
  14. Brew, what kind of homemade beer was it?
  15. If I had TIVO I would do that, but it'll have to be "live" network coverage for me.
  16. The Crew has the 2nd best home record in the majors. The All-Star game could have an enormous impact on if they get to that level. I know I'll actually be watching due to this. Anyone else? edit: missed Cleveland's home record in second place
  17. Count me in, much obliged.
