If sheets doesn't get the win for his efforts....
  2. IslandsAC
Ouch. I still would have kept him in, but he's gotta be done now...
  3. IslandsAC
Good, Sheets will have a shot at the complete game SO
  4. IslandsAC
I guess mench hasn't figured out yet that you're supposed to make Sheeter work harder than that for some runs...

    WAHHOOOOO!! Carlos who? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  6. IslandsAC
Ha, is Yost a lefty too? Maybe thats it...
  7. IslandsAC
I'd agree with you if it were later in the game and it wasn't the 2-3-4 hitters coming up.
  8. IslandsAC
may be a liiiiitttle to early for that
  9. IslandsAC
Nope, definitely in the first 3 batters and then nothing for the rest of the game... *more jinx*

clark graffanino fielder mench jenkins bell hall rivera sheets Fielder hitting third, nice. Against a righty, that lineup actually looks pretty decent to me...

Just thought I'd drop in this thread because after that game and a Brewers team that I can no longer recognize, I will be posting in here more appropriately later tonight...

Yeah thats about how I feel, mike. Even though I new it was coming, it took me by surprise at first. I guess I don't know what I was expecting. Anyway, you're right, we should catch a game. If you're ever back in Neenah, give me a call or I'll be back in la crosse by the middle of august.

Wow, shrek's head IS gigantic. hey mike van, what do you think of the trade?
  14. IslandsAC
Yeah, the move makes absolute perfect sense. I don't see how you can put Bush's tough inning on Ned Yost. Has anyone in the bullpen done anything but give up runs for the last month? Bush isn't needed in the rotation this week, so to me it seemed like the right move, it just happened to have frustrating results. Sheets and TGJR made me smile.

    put, in JDLR... oh shoot.

This is when Koskie's left handed bat is sorely missed.
  17. IslandsAC
I made the first reply yesterday, so I'll try to keep that mojo going. Go crew!

When they walked Miller I thought there was no way Jenkins was going to get an at bat. The only logical reason I can think of to not see Hart there is simply that would only leave Rivera coming off the bench? Still that seemed like a no brainer.

Ha, great stuff in the bullpen. Keep racking up the runs so the jokesters can't blow it today!
  20. IslandsAC
This is how it should've been for a while now. Jenkins 7th and Hall 3rd vs. lefties, and swapped vs. righties. You've gotta keep both in, but you've got to play to their strengths.
  21. IslandsAC
Ahhhhhh.... home sweet home. All I can say is I sure am glad this series isn't in PNC
  22. IslandsAC
Thats like a 110% chance of them not starting on time!
  23. IslandsAC
Man Atlanta has been making St Louis look foolish these last 2 games.
  24. IslandsAC
The real hilarity of this situation is that the Brewers will somehow win tonight, then win a couple more, and the wild card talk will take over the state of Wisconsin once again...
  25. IslandsAC
I should've gone to bed hours ago. Go Crew.
