  1. I think the Pirates used 23 players in 18 innings earlier in the year just before they played the brewers, and if i remember correctly, the brewers allowed the pirates bullpen to rest up nicely...
  2. I would bet that rivera's the angriest.
  3. ahhh, here's the other brewer killer...
  4. just hit for kolb otherwise he'd still be out there
  5. At this rate, Grabow could pitch the next 6 innings
  6. That was pretty old school (getting people out)
  7. Including the construction of simple english sentences apparently.
  8. I like your first explaination better. I haven't understood anything since the April
  9. good thing the other brewer killers are out (craig wilson, jack flash) oh wait, there's still freddie sanchez and jeremi burnitz...
  10. I don't like the games at work because even if it frustrates me, I can't pull myself away for a minute like I can at home...
  11. I trust this bullpen a lot more than I did a month ago (minus t-bow) *knock on wood*
  12. Prince really needs a day off before Bell? I wonder if Ned remembers that Rillo can play third.
  13. But the last couple at-bats can make the people who took the first couple at-bats too seriously look silly.
  14. Ha, I just came on here to comment about Aardsma's pic. Yikes.
  15. Is this the first game since Bell arrived that Bell, Grafanino AND Mench aren't all starting?
  16. Its a lot more realistic of a goal then running off 10 in a row. If the Brewers win every series for the rest of the year that would be a good thing.
  17. My unfounded prediction is that the Brewers will win the first two games and lose on Sunday.
  18. Yeah but now we have to add Florida to the ever growing least of teams the Brewers have to leap frog.
  19. I remember reading that in the game wrap on mlb.com and thinking, 'wow, if he thought he was struggling, i can't wait to see him feeling comfortable'
  20. Thats exactly why I'd stick with Sheets. Give him the chance to finish what he started. He didn't quite get it done but ignoring the hindsight, with the way he was pitching, I don't know how you could take him out.
  21. I think its actually the 3rd in 3 days (fri, sat, sun). I may be wrong...
  22. IMO, with a 4 run lead and a shutout going, you've gotta keep him in unless his pitchcount is 120+ EDIT: until he gives up the run or gets into huge trouble, that is. EDIT AGAIN: especially considering how dominantly he was pitching.
