  1. Great article. Very interesting. Could make for a good movie.
  2. The 1-3 hitters in the lineup went 0 for 11. That's pretty brutal. ... Don't win many games scoring just 1 run. ... Seems we did have a lot of hard hit balls hit right at defenders, though. A bit unlucky today?
  3. So Vaughn has 1+ RBI in each of his first 4 games as a Brewer? That seems like quite a feat.
  4. Any recent interviews with Vaughn out there? Particularly interested in what he's had to say about joining a contender, what he thinks about the organization, etc.
  5. Headed to First Horizon Park to take in tonight's tilt. Who is Coleman Crow? ... Kindof excited to see Plesac's nephew.
  6. Interesting. I wonder if/how ticket sales are being affected. Seems kindof bold to expect working adults to get to the ballpark by ~2:30 on a Friday, or earlier to partake in any pregame experiences or tailgating. Diehards / big fans might be fine with working around the logistics, but typical groups and families are made up of a range of fandom with varying appeal for prioritizing the inconvenience.
  7. Didn't want to start a new thread for this question... Is there an obvious reason the Fri 7/25 game is a 3:00 start? From an attendance standpoint, that seems rough for a workday.
  8. Time to dust off those Vaughn's Valley banners for the left field bleachers!
  9. https://brewerfanatic.com/forums/topic/39989-1982-brewers-docuseries-“just-a-bit-outside”/page/2/?&_rid=821#findComment-1641871
  10. And the multiple concussions. Feels like it's at least 50/50 that the issue rears itself again next season, potentially even cutting his career short.
  11. Lots of pitches in the 1st inning, two hits on weak contact. Got through the 2nd in about 10 pitches, though.
  12. 40% chance rain forecasted for game time, hopefully that doesn't mess with his start. I'm thinking about driving up from ~60 minutes south of NSH to attend.
  13. Our first two picks could be Green & Golden?
  14. Thanks for sharing. I don't remember that Brewers Night Live video. Pretty darn good. Can't believe it only has 2.3K views and 2 comments (from 8 years ago) on YouTube.
  15. FYI- Today's game is on MLB Network, I believe. 3:00 CT start.
  16. Recognition for Gard in this article about Coach of the Year candidates: https://www.si.com/college-basketball/mens-college-basketball-coach-of-the-year-candidates
  17. I don't know if this was posted anywhere, but looks like a couple of weeks ago the Milwaukee Admirals uploaded a video package to YouTube with all of Uecker's TV commercials for the Admirals. Must be from early/mid 90s? I had totally forgotten about these gems -- definitely brought back some memories. There's like 15 or 16 ads, all conveniently bundled into one video. Watching them now, I found myself equal parts entertained and impressed -- extremely funny, yes, but also just really well done. Seems like much better production quality than you'd expect for minor league hockey TV spots made 30 years ago. Gotta think Ueck had a lot to do with that, but hats off to everyone involved in these pieces.
  18. I think you just need to remove the period from the end of the url.
  19. I think the 300K was referring to the difference in payouts for winning vs losing the final.
  20. Jacobs was phenomenal on that drive. And that final run was brilliant. Go Pack Go.
  21. Watching that play, I was convinced there should be a 10 second runoff. Seems like an easy loophole to get a stopped clock and a chance to huddle. I'm almost positive that other infractions like a false start would have a runoff?
  22. Only 'til KC-BAL wraps up on ESPN?
  23. Incredible. More impressive, or at least more interesting, than just rattling off three straight shutouts for the series. I imagine at least a few Twins fans witnessed that leadoff home run, nodded approvingly, and thought, "this is going to be a good series". Bananas to go scoreless for the remainder of the series for the next 81 outs.
