    I have removed my Brewers pictures from my cell phone, also removed, turning up the heat from my ring tone...for a couple reasons I did this. 1. I'm very mad at them right now. 2. I sometimes think by me changing things up, it will change how the Brewers play...I know I have no controll over anything, just something I like to do to make myself feel better..ya know, like wearing the same socks when on a hitting streak. now that I have done this, they had better start to win.

    Beast Light, If you read earlier discussions on this site, you'll see that Fatter Than Joey is no proponent of personal responsibility. His opinions on this come as no surprise to me at all. its fine to disagree with someone, but your comments have nothing to add to this topic

    If the tow truck wasn't there, he could have gotten to his destination safely -- you cannot presume there would have been an accident. or he could have continued and slammed into a family of 4 and killed everyone...so it could go either way there.

    its not like he was just a little drunk either. almost twice the legal limit..like its been said, we don't know all the details but it just seems like the dad is reaching.. this is a question because I have no clue....if you're a bar owner, how are you supposed to know if someone is drunk or not? your bartenders are there to serve drinks and as long as someone isn't falling over themselves everything is fine..and once you offer a cab doesn't that wash your hands clean of the situation..if the guy denys it, then its all on him now?

    come on FTJ you only quoted part of my sentence..i said because the way it sounds, he is blaming everyone but his son..not that he is blaming everyone but his son...either way, I have a ton of friends that are cops, and my brother soon will be a cop. I have talked to them about this soft of thing, and the same response always comes back....if you drink and drive, and kill yourself, thats your own damn fault.

    If Hancock was alive he would have the right to defend himself that would be one heck of a defense...how would that go? I was really drunk but I would have been ok if that car wouldn't have stalled? Not sure that would go over well in court or to police officers

    I don't understand why there is such a negative reaction to him because the way it sounds like, he wants to blame everyone else but his son.. and no, I don't know police reports, or anything else..just saying how it sounds like.

    so the owner of the stalled car not only feels horrible about the situation, but now is being sued because of it..if the road didn't have a big enough shoulder then maybe the city should be sued for not making a big enough road..or sue the tow truck driver for doing his job..or sue the st louis cardinals for not providing cabs when players go out drinking..just sue everyone....the leagal system is so messed up...your kid drove drunk, and not just a little drunk if i remember right...he was offered a cab and refused it...It must be extremely difficult to go through something like this for a family, but I'm sorry sir, your son did this to himself.

    BC, I just purchased a lot of 24 game used bats woah..where would you be able to purchase them from? you don't have to tell if you have a "guy" that gets you stuff...that has to cost a penny too

    I just hope Jenks does a signing at a store or the fanzone. I dont want to lug around a bat at an auto friday he signs at believe me, its a pain in the butt to carry a bat around..Last year I carried my bat to every game I went to (18 games). The bat has over 40 autographs on it, so in the end it was worth it.

    there have been a few Cirillo bats on ebay within the last few months..however they have been a little to high for me. when I get players autos on a bat, I go with the black bat with silver paint pen..I need to get some game used items

    some people are just clueless..I heard those coments on rome is burning today and can't believe that he said that. I like how the reporter goes, you know its a felony right? and he just brushes it off like its nothing..

    I hate going to the west cost... 1. as mentioned earlier, seasons go to die on the west cost. 2. games start at 9pm and end past midnight.. 2b. games end past midnight on nomar check swing basehits. that being said, lets string a couple wins back to back and build our division lead back up

    Pretty sure it's the vent thread. Let the guy or gal vent its ok, i'm pretty sure he has been with me from the start of this slide...he is just making a point that its ok the worry a little after some losses
