    Hunter Pence with his 22nd homer on the year... Too bad he's the same age as Weeks and in A ball. The Astros really need to move that guy up a level or two.

    I'm no draft buff, but where are the questions about his bat coming from? The 50 ABs in the Cape? The hitch? BA says that he does have that hitch in his swing, but his hands are fast enough to make it a non-issue.

    From listening to the game, he went through the first easy (two K's). Then when covering first the announcer said he slipped off the bag covering for the out. He then walked the next two hitters, and got out of the inning. I didn't hear why he was out, but it might be a minor ankle thing (only precautionary is my guess).

    Ugh. Davis is terrible at the plate. But, he's had 20 scoreless innings in a row, so we'll let it slide.

    The PCL is going to be a happier place once Prince and Rickie are gone. Though a good game looking at the stat line, Manny pitched much better than his two earned runs suggest. Struck out three guys in the 4th, and then gave up two runs.

    I'm not much of a draft buff, but how do these two prep outfielders compare? From reading BA's top 200 and best tools, it seems like they're quite similar.

    I know it's only April, but the guy has been putting up great numbers for the past few years now, except for his .260 BA in Beloit (although he still had 60 somthing walks to 50 strikeouts).

    Anyone notice that we have a guy in AA ball who has twice as many walks as strikeouts, a .500 OBP, and half his hits are for extra bases... How does Callix not get the attention he deserves?

    Was Eveland wearing number 50? Was wondering who that was... Didn't look anything like what I expected from a guy who was getting David Wells comparisons. Hardy really impressed me out there. Had a triple in his first at bat, and was robbed of atleast a single by the CF later on. The runs started rolling in for the Sox right about the time Hall came in, and from our seats, it looked like a few balls got by him.

    Anyone else think that Gary Glover is the right handed Doug Davis? I think I read somewhere that Maddux has taught Glover the cut fastball over the offseason, the same pitch that Davis has turned the corner with. Would love to see him get a starting spot as he did well in his few starts last season.
