    If D-Bow is struggling like he is now, he can't be put on a quick leash...He needs to wriggle out of the tough situations by himself like he did in that first homestand. That said, we probably shouldn't totally beat Yost's move to death We won, and we have another game in 13 and a half hours. Time to move on. As for Hamels: What is the deal with this guy? What kind of stuff does he have? Edit: Spelling, Grammar..

    Take a step back: We just took 2 out of 3 against *arguably* the best team in the NL after a terrible road trip. I don't know what to say except that I'm glad that we are done facing these guys this regular season. Oh, and I hope the past two games won't have a negative effect on D-Bow. They weren't really bad performances, but I hope he won't pull a Lidge on us and stink because of one crucial big hit given up.

    Even though it's real cheesy, I'll never get tired of hearing Ueck say "Dee Bow coming in for Dee Save." Probably because of the happy connotations that phrase has...I'll never get tired of it either. Meat of the order here though, should be tough...Mow 'em down!

    I wanna see a stat at the end of the day of how everyone who had a pink bat today did. Edit: Here comes Shouse with the tying-run up to bat. Make your first outing a good one big guy!

    Pedro has been far and away the better starting pitcher today, and yet....... Good teams find a way to win games where their SP is struggling and the oppositions SP is dominating, which I guess is *so far* a good sight to see. Let's keep it going Capellan!

    This one is tough to swallow. I was ragging on/joking with my girlfriend all week for making me miss D-Bow Bobblehead night to go to prom http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif ...and when we get back in the car after dinner we hear Powell say "one of the most wildly entertaining games in Miller Park history", so that didnt help things. Now we've got Pedro on the mound for the Mets and we are in fear of dropping 2 games under .500. Hopefully, Last week's west coast swing and last nights game will have angered this team enough to wear out the baseball like crazy today. P.S.--- Doug Davis: Strikes = Good. Let's not have a repeat of your last Retro Sunday outing, ok?
