  1. Man Brady is starting to hit the ball hard.
  2. Alright, 2-0 lead...sounds good, but doesnt feel all that safe. Time to eat up innings Sharpie!
  3. Nice hit and run there I believe. We gotta get more with a man on second and nobody out!
  4. I don't like this...A walk leads to Adam Dunn up with a chance for a 2-run homer.
  5. 'Attaboy big Prince! Man did we need that. "what's this? the Brewers playing in front before the 7th inning?"-Jim Powell Let's hope Eveland can keep it up.
  6. Oh dang. Moeller just missed a homer, and its a double with no RBI. And now Bush is up...oy.
  7. Koskie remains the doubles master. 5-1 Bad Guys
  8. Bush's problems in Toronto often had to do with really really bad first innings. If he'd get past the 1st, he could settle down. Looks like a little too much damage has been done for him to really settle down. FINALLY, an OUT!
  9. Wow, good call. I HATE it when I'm right... Alright, still early.
  10. Bush with control problems + tendency to give up homers + Great American Ballpark = A few too many 3-run homer threats. 3 runs could be all the Reds need if Arroyo has another outing like back in April against us. I hope I'm wrong.
  11. Alright, Bases Loaded. ANYTHING but a comebacker for a 1-2-3 DP please!
  12. Night and day between last nigh'ts top-of-the-first and today's. Good work Cappy.
  13. You know, although there have been only three posts before this one, I really like the optimism shown so far... I thought this thread would reak of "Why does this team sucl?" from the start. I like our chances with Cappy, though it is a retro Sunday, which in the past has meant either getting blown out or blowing a save, but still, like I said, I like our chances.
  14. I can't remember being at a game with so many foul balls. For a while there we were on pace to break the record for longest 9-inning game. Weeks' homer in the 9th was incredible...Too bad it will be burried in Twins highlights. It never got that high off that ground, but it cleared the Brewers bullpen easily. I'd argue he hit that one as hard as he did in St. Louis last year, only not as high. Hendrickson is garbage, but I don't think I need to elaborate on that. Cappy on the mound today. If he goes 7 strong at least, we can bring in Wise and Turnbow (hopefully), both who didn't play yesterday, and our bullpen will have recovered from last nights debacle. (Major *knock on wood*). Let's see another 10 runs today, eh? I like the Twins, but getting swept by them would hurt.
  15. Brady Clark remains the worst baserunner in MLB history. End hyperbole. At least we got the run.
  16. Don't these kids have school?? I figured there'd be like 10-12 thousand total people there today, but they pretty much packed the place. This time of year is a popular time for school trips, what with the school year winding down. I remember going to a Brewers vs. Braves game at County Stadium in 5th grade in May '99 with all the student crossing guards at our school...The bleachers were packed with kids.
  17. Fielder is the ROY hands down There's my favorite quote from PhilaPhans. I don't think that troll is from this site, unless he somehow said he was, which i didn't catch.
  18. Bust out the Brooms!!! How about that one, folks! D-Bow is back!!! Great comeback again today in front of a nice crowd of 27,000+ Bring on the Twinkies!
  19. I like that Brady is heating up...If he continues to, we won't need to worry as much about putting Hall or Weeks in center and can have Hall play SS consistently while JJ recovers.
  20. Let's get some insurance...I'm gonna need a pretty good lead to keep me sane when this goes to the ninth.
  21. Ok, what the heck is wrong with Wise?? I do NOT want to see Kolb in this situation. Well, there we go, leadoff single. I'm thinkin' Yost wants Wise in the 9th.
  22. If Kolb works a nice 8th...Do we see Turnbow or does he get the game off?
  23. HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!!!!!!!!!!!! How about that one folks!!!??? Geoff Jenkins!!!
