  1. it will never happen. won't it?
  2. https://www.facebook.com/garrett.cooper.9?fref=ts Garrett Cooper heading to Biloxi
  3. i spent 4 hours of my life in Phoenix, 2 hours in an empty Chase Field, then i flew from PHO to MIL, and spent eight more days (and some dollars as well) all because Milwaukee had a pro sport. the pro team puts the city in the map (and thoughts and talks) of many tourist (not only sport fanatics like me). i don't know if this is worth zillions or cents, but something for sure.
  4. i only write a few but i did read all your thousands and (i don't know why) still i am here reading ahahahah
  5. Worst move: crowding too much the OF (trades, minor league signing, rule 5, waivers it will be tough to play all of them even with a whole split squads spring training) Best move: adding a C prospect while trying to solve the OF logjam
  6. can't add anything to this thread but i do want to thank you all, great read.
  7. the 2011 season was an unforgettable rollercoaster, (viewtopic.php?f=63&t=27834&hilit=kalle8&start=20#p775655), but the moment I entered MP for the first time (august 2012) was great too. hawing was witness.
  8. I guess I took Kalley's as: TCHEK kin ee - where the first syllable is the same as Czechoslovakia. And the second as "kin" (like my relative, my kin). Maybe Coshun will have company. Cecchini is a typical touscanian name. i don't remember fonetics but the italian pron is just like i wrote, not "chic" but "tchek" or czech. well, hope he's worth all this time.. tutorial:
  9. pron: tchekkiney, or something in the neighborhood.
  10. ahahah the 2.500 bond was paid by brewerfan.net anonymous member
  11. I started to follow the Brewers in 2005, so this is my first rebuilding phase. i am excited and wonder how it was when Rickie, JJ, Prince and Corey Hart were rising all together.
  12. family life: my wife doesn't know much of baseball, but she was with me in 2012 when we visited Miller Park and she witnessed a whole series vs the Cubs and was not impressed by Cubs fans to say the least. when she woke up i was still watching the game (it was game 1) and went "Cubs Vs Cardinals? who do you root for?" me (grinning): "the meteorite".
  13. F.C. Internazonale: Top of the League! after one full month of football (yes, FOOTBALL!) i see that italian sides are a bit closer to the big european powers. Juventus is playing really bad but still won @Manchester City, we'll see what will happen but something is...brewing in Italy!
  14. i look at this and other threads of the minor league forum and always and up feeling something between: "the brewers will win the world series pretty soon" and "the brewers will own the world pretty soon".
  15. I agree. I'd rather here plain truthful speaking, rather than standard lines about "grinding things out," and "We need to keep playing hard every day," etc. I rather hear nothing than truthful (?) speaking. I didn't see in Luc's eyes last August/September how he hates losing, how badly he wanted to win... Rebuilding mode is only his fault (with other "big" names). I am ok with it, they are human and they can play badly and i can accept it, but i can't accept when you call your franchise out for going in a different direction. The franchise (thankfully) took this road because of the players and their performances. Yes there were errors in evaluation in this last off season but I think even with a lost wild card tie breaker (which was a worst case scenario in 2014 July), this season would be seen as a downer in a up 'n' down decade. sorry for my writing but i think you goy my point, in my mind in italian this was more clever and interesting. ahahaha
  16. tanking and useless vets on the bench/bullpen. but i don't think i can have both...
  17. hello World Champions! Lloyd is da man. ahahah the Women World Cup final was ten time bettere than the Copa America Final.
  18. i wrote you a PM. thread can be deleted
  19. Wandering through the net and just stepped into this: http://baseballanalysts.com/archives/2008/06/shadowing_the_2.php i want to hear our brewarfan site prospect gurus about it
  20. I think the Brewers before the season begun said to the guys something like "no matter what your stats look like, in june you will go to Helena". So they were mentally prepared to the "programmed demotion". Of course in case they were doing well in Appleton they would have been told "you're to good to go to Helen" boosting their confidence.
  21. read the first message and let me know!
  22. ahaha, the good part of Italy was (is) happy! visca el Barca!
