  1. Ahahahah, the real teams. In italy they say good teams are the one that win when they play bad, the brewers are great to keep the mojo goinanyway they can
  2. they just find ways to win (i was about to push the blue font color but then...)
  3. i saw the tickets are quite expensive, i can't imagine what the demand is...
  4. this has to do with the increasing importance of overseas fans who need primetime entertainment every week end! i loooove the day games!
  5. you had the BF posters treatment. me and my wife had it in 2012 and it's the best you can have except the Chris Carpenter treatment. wow, that was classy!
  6. only love for CC! ...and that in PIT was a no-hitter!
  7. i remember Carlos Corporan having his first hit vs Paul Janish and i remember Cirillo as a Diamonback striking out Craig Counsell. i read last Brewer position player to pitch was Inglett but i didn't recall the game at all
  8. in Italy there's only one way to call a liar and a cheater: Prime Minister... (recorded laughter) i watched one game of the Fenway series with a italian broadcast, they were talking about Braun as if he was a serial killer. according to them big papi was on his way to Rome to be santified... viva l'Italia!
  9. Jeff Francoeur's AAA team convinced him (over several weeks) that teammate Jorge Reyes was deaf
  10. everything seems to com the brewers way, i know everything will change with the cards in town
  11. i watched all the games live and except some moment of loss of definition, and a 30 sec freezing (image not audio) during Thornburg first pitch, everything was perfect. i didn't get to see many Brewers hits, but i don't think it is a MLBtv problem...
  12. my sources (don't laugh!) tell Lara current price is around 3.5 M, the Brewers are still in, in the last two showcases Lara was fantastic and the price skyrocketed.
  13. if i was DM i never would. but as a fan, i always have in the back of my mind (heart) the romantic thing of having a player spend the whole career in a brewers' jersey.
  14. if you want to play 300 games in the Italian Baseball League you have to play at least 8 years. if you want to take have some rest, Jean, you know where to come! (maybe former Brewer Mark Di Felice can arrange something). 300 games in 15 months, I just can't believe it!
  15. i am talking about this current season, i liked the show so much...
  16. i had the first 8 episodes in my DVR and drooled about watching them...but i really was so bored...and then i watched episode 9 Yesterday and finally got asleep... last time i fell asleep watching TV was EIRE - ENGLAND 1-1, soccer world cup ITALIA '90.
  17. i think you get ST games automatically but i am not sure because perhaps international subscriptions are slightly different. i always got those (and playoffs too) without another Subscription. btw, until last year only 4 or 5 games were televised..
  18. i answer after a couple of month (typical italian style)... i think italy vs england could be a very intense game but i don't think these teams can compete for the final win. the teams i am most curious about are Belgium and Colombia (now they say Falcao will be back and in shape for the cup). Yesterday night i was at the pub with a couple of friends and one announced "the 28th of june i will get married!" me and the two other friends simultaneously and terrified: "have you checked the World Cup schedule?"
  19. ... he was Amazing!
  20. this is an insurance signing. not for the bullpen, but for Melvin: "what do you want from me? I even signed the veteran with closing experience to back up Henderson..."
  21. what a play! i really hope Maldonado can find some groove at the plate, i know a 2012 like season is asking too much, but 2013 should be a fluke too...
  22. i stayed at the Astor Hotel, grade C but awesome location, near to the lake and downtown. i went to MP with public transportations and bar shuttles as well, i didn't have a car and never second guessed my decision. i will remember my 8 days in Milwaukee (7 games) for ever and i sure will come again!
  23. i think Portugal is stronger than USA team. Cristiano Ronaldo is maybe the best player of all tournament (given that Messi didn't shine in all the past main tournaments). World cups are often decided by players more than teams (7 games max), so i doubt USA will advance. that said, a 4 team groupe can be decided by a good (or bad) match, so there is hope.
