disgusts me to no end that Hart isn't in RF. \ Because there is not a lefty on the mound today. And all Cirillo does is hit. Why is he not in the lineup more often? Yost continues to amaze me. He may get more playing time again, but he needed the rest after he played so much after Koskie went down.

Davis back to normal giving up a run before he is out of the 2nd.

Difference could be that Maholm is not as good a pitcher as Shell.

With Bush in the pen the Brewers have to feel that Sheets will be back for his upcoming start and we do not need to use Bush as a starter this time through the rotation. I am all for it as he need the help in the pen.

And he's been our 3rd best pitcher if you are talking about starters only. And since only 3 starters have pitched the whole season, and the other two have been replaced by AA and AAA pitchers, that's not saying much. Don't worry Ohka looked decent in his first game back and Sheets is on his way.

Rivera is Moellery at throwing out runners On the radio they stated they had the runner out but, Hall dropped the ball. Is that what happened. Rivera was not known for his arm. Solid bat and good at handling pitchers.

I just think he's been our 2nd best pitcher this year and people shouldn't be so hard on a guy thats pitched as well as he had over the last couple months Did Dave Bush suddenly leave the Brewers?? I would have to put him as the second best pitcher. I know he was in the top ten for Ks in the NL and was second on the staff in qaulity starts.

Davis may have already peaked in value. I have to wonder also if he is worth keeping around for 5 mil a year. I would think a healthy Ohka is a better value.
  9. hauser42
Nothing like jumping out in front for Davis. Now I hope he can get out of the first couple of innings for us.

Kolb turns into a Christmas Tree, Jenkins makes a bad throw and Moeller misplays the throw. Looks like a nightmare.
  11. hauser42
I will say this Hall has been very clutch this year for the Brewers late in games.
  12. hauser42
Rivera would be better at it. He is more known for his stick than glove.
  13. hauser42
That was a great Jenks. We pay you to hit homeruns and play great D. When is he going to start????
  14. hauser42
How is Cirrillo not in there batting against the Lefty?????
  15. hauser42
Only other option is Murton and he is really struggling. Only real prospect is Pie and he is too young right now. Nevin gives them one more power guy.

Terrible job by Lee, that is costly.
  17. hauser42
Now we need to get him so we have the lead, no need to play from behind again.
  18. hauser42
That was a nasty pitch for strike 3 on Jenks. Bush needs to mow them down now.

TheCrew07 I understand your frustration, and I agree. I would still love to miss the top pitchers in any rotation.

I was looking at this week and was really liking this road trip we were suppose to miss Liriano and Johan while playing the Twins. Now the Twins are skipping Bonser so we will face Liriano. I comment on this because really the toughest matchup was Maddux on Monday night. Brewers kill Zambrano and the rest of the matchups had questions. I would like to see 3 more wins this week if not 4.

I was thinking on a permanent basis.
  22. hauser42
I still wish the best hitter on our team wasn't hitting 5th. I think ned is protecting Lee so he gets to see some pitches. Prince IMO has the best eye on the team and will not get himself out a lot. Jenks should be in the 3 spot against righties, imo. If he gets into his second half hot streak he will be moved back into the 3 spot.
  23. hauser42
Cannot blame Prince on that play. Hall needs to make a better throw on that play for the out to be made.
  24. hauser42
He had one good season and his secondary stats weren't even that good. Reminds me a lot about Sheets, but he had two good years. But he is considered an ace.

Carlos comes through!! Pony up for the man in the middle.
