  1. HOLY HELL, CLAYTON GETS A HIT! Why is a run scored on a pass ball earned? Nevermind, they fixed it. Clayton's next AB, with 2 on and 2 out in the 6th: Pitch 1 - Ball Pitch 2 - Called Strike Pitch 3 - Ball Pitch 4 - Ball Pitch 5 - Called Strike Pitch 6 - Swinging Strike Royce Clayton strikes out swinging. Even though walk is basicaly useless (light hitting sheets coming up) Clayton tries his damnedest to walk. After looking at 2 OK balls to hit (atleast they were strikes) he swings at a 4th ball. I mean really, the guy has batted before the pitcher all year and still only has a .301 OBP. If I have to be forced to watch a crappy brewer team, can't it atleast be a young crappy team??!!
  2. You don't think his career .313 OBP is deservant of the 2 hole? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Seriously, Ol' Dusty done lost his marbles.
  3. About as favorable a pitching matchup as the Brewers will ever get against the Cubs. The Brewers and the fans need this one!
  4. What annoys me about the Viz situation is that we could have traded him easy last off season, but didn't think we were getting enough in return. I bet management feels stupid now!
  5. I love the ignorant Ginter bashing that goes on here. 100 AB as a pinch hitter, and he's garbage? Ignorant.
  6. O @#%$, Matt Ford was allowed to pitch 3 innings. You know what that means..... a couple more 3-4 inning games for Ford and Rusch will be outa here! Of course that means he may get another 2 or so starts.... ack!
  7. What is the damn score of the game anyway? 8-2 or 8-3? Seems the internet is gliched!
  8. Damnit, second and third, with one out, can can't even get a fly RBI. Probably won't get another baserunner till the 8th.
  9. The Brewers need this win for a few reasons: 1. take a tie for the four game series. 2. Not lose ANOTHER series at home. 3. Have ONE quality start through the whole rotation. 4. Give me a good game to watch at work!!!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Q will give a good 6 innings. Hopefully then we'll see Ford/Estrella, Leskanic, and a GOOD Dejean. If it were up to me, I'd put Leskanic back in the closer role but... Brewers 5, Cards 4
  10. You mean Yost actually didn't say that he thought Rusch pitche well? It's like bizzaro world out there during a Yost interview about Rusch. Rusch will give up 7 earned runs in 6 innings and Yost will praise him. I'm waiting for Rusch to give up 2 runs in 8 and hear Yost say how he was dissappointed in the big guy http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  11. He sounds like a scrappy battler
