  1. What's wrong with hour pitching? Sheets will make a GREAT #3 starter, and obermiller, davis, martinez, kinney and franklin will make a great #5 http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  2. My earlier pessimism aside, regardless of their final standings this year, the Brewers are a HELL of alot more fun to watch these days.
  3. That Brook's fella sure is interesting. He has shown himself to be a WONDERFUL pinch hitter, and another year of pitching might make him decent in teh pen. Let's remember, he's really a MLB rookie as a pitcher!
  4. Maybe if the umps didn't F&CKING weight 300 lbs, they could get their fat @ss in position to make a call in the outfield. Brutal
  5. Sheets just getting rocked. I guess that's good for the Brewers. I mean, how much is a starter with a 4.39 career ERA really worth in abry? I know he's young, but he's still not gonna break the bank. After taking two of three from the pathetic Reds to start the month, the Brewers have been 2-11 the rest of the way. While it was a nice suprise to see the Brewers have a nice August, they are back playing typical Brewer baseball. I guess they ran outa Bucs and Reds to play...
  6. But, but, they can't shut him down now. Remember, the Brewers will go .500 after the all star break!!! Gimmi a break.
  7. If there's any team that can get the Cards back in it, it's the Brewers!
  8. During their 6 game losing streak, the Brewers have been outscored, 39 to 19. OUCH! Look on the bright side, in Bizzaro World, The Brewer's only have to lose 6 more before everyone has to give Webbs a hamburger!
  9. 3-1 game, runner on second and 1 out, 7th inning... pitcher up. What do you do? Perfect time to give a guy who you haven't seen fit to bat in over a month to pinch hit?? So confused! Yost must have the under for the year! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. Don't worry guys, Yost will rally those guys!! Blah Blah. What are they trying to prove with Viz? That they weren't completely STUPID for not trading him this summer? That HAS to be it. O look, Brewer's are below .500 since the all star break. It's going to get alot worse than this, I assure you. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
  11. O god.... isn't the season over already http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  12. Stupid me, I forgot that if I wait until the bottom of the first to turn the game on, they will already be losing. Why do i waste me ***** time?
  13. That $11 mil woll simply go *POOF*, and will be gone. What team have you been watching; The Brewers simply don't sign good free agents. They will sign a couple more crappy/hurt/aging vets like EY, Clayton, Osik, Perez, Mlicki, Ritchie, Stairs, Bako, Blanko, Figeroa, Burba.... wow, I could go on forever.... Also, why will Yost pinch hit for Osik, but not Clayton? Come on now, Clayton's OBP is below .300, despite batting before the pitcher! Osik has simply had a better year offensively, and that isn't saying much. As I've said before, I think sexual favors from Clayton to Yost is the reason!
  14. If the Brewers DO end up playing spoiler for some of these teams, you may start hearing the national media talk about how the Brewers are "coming together".
  15. A bad knee and leg problems? He had a bruised knee which is supposedly fine now. Also, if your "leg problems" is in referance to his cramps today, maybe somone needs to explain to you what cramps are http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Maybe I missed an injury?

  17. Ginter has already made two apearances in left this year, so I cetainly wouldn't rule out him getting some or a majority of the time out there.

  19. I guess we are looking at: 1. Pod CF 2. Hall 2B 3. Sexson 1B 4. VW RF 5. Ginter LF 6. Helms 3B 7. Perez C 8. Clayton SS Personally, I'd rather see Ginter in the 3 spot, but probably ain't gonna happen.

  21. I don't get it. When I broke my thumb, it was simple: 1. I hurt it. 2. It hurt 3. Went to doctor. 4. Docter took x-ray. 5. He said, "It's broke" I'm sure they x-rayed it at the park (they DO have one, no?). I would speculate that if it is broke, it's a very minor fracture. Sucks that his great season may end early, but he'll be good to go next year. Look on the bright side, we really don't need him anymore this year, and it will further devalue him. We might even be able to afford him soon!
