That was huge. Way to step up Sheets, Gross, and Coco.

AWESOME. That was a pretty poor call by Ueck though http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

The bullpen better get warm in a HURRY.
  4. EinhornIsFinkle
    sigh
  5. EinhornIsFinkle
Uecker said he caught it up against the padding on the fence.

Sheets is a great pitcher (sometimes) but I for one won't miss him when he's gone. First of all he is very inconsistent and at least 1/3 of the time is very average to even poor. Last year he reported out of shape and proceeded to get hurt AGAIN and he sometimes makes as if he has a really poor attitude. IMO he's not worth anywhere the money they would have to pay him. Let him pitch out his contract and let him walk and take the draft picks and keep the prospect waves coming.

Memo to Ben Sheets....pitch around Xavier Nady.

Good for the Crew and good for me as I have soup on my fantasy team and really really need a W.
  9. EinhornIsFinkle
No fun yet for Mench A start without any base hits send him to the bench
  10. EinhornIsFinkle
That is what I have thought but I don't really know many celebrities so I just wanted to see if I was missing something.

Good. But in the two games I've watched he topped out at 93 and seemed to be hanging around in the 89-91 range. Against the Cubs he only got above 91 a couple of times from what I saw.

rluzinski - who is the girl in your avatar?
  13. EinhornIsFinkle
On the other hand he has only given up 2 runs in 4 innings.
  14. EinhornIsFinkle
I for one think Sheet's is hurt. His fastball has lacked his normal velocity all year long. Has he even hit 94 this season?
  15. EinhornIsFinkle
He was beyond bad. It was the worst scoreless 5 innings I have ever heard.
  16. EinhornIsFinkle
I was at the gym today watching the game and according to WGN Sheets fastball kept clocking in at 89 or 90 with a few 91's and a top speed that I saw of 93 to pie. As I live in MN and only listen to the games has this been the norm this season? Is this why the k's are down and the era is up. Is he hurt again? Is this groin injury like the one Schmidt in LA suffered which is really a shoulder injury?
  17. EinhornIsFinkle
Maybe I need to go post on that Yost thread
  18. EinhornIsFinkle
Another move by Yost that can be questioned.
  19. EinhornIsFinkle
Well I am certainly no Bert Blyleven when it comes to calls http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  20. EinhornIsFinkle
    I predict a triple.
  21. EinhornIsFinkle
    Nice legs.
  22. EinhornIsFinkle
I have a feeling Ben will get a no-no this season. As a franchise we are due.
  23. EinhornIsFinkle
Nobody's going to catch this one....Ethier did catch it.
  24. EinhornIsFinkle
I wish I could see that. Was it as good as Jim made it sound?
  25. EinhornIsFinkle
and some of you wanted to give short to Hall and send JJ to the minors. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
