Think Fielder will open this season like last?
  2. EinhornIsFinkle
relocation? They are in the process of building a new stadium as we speak.

    Holy Braun http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  4. EinhornIsFinkle
This could get interesting at third.

Oh oh Weeks dropped ball http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif

Nope as someone who lives in the Twin Cities I will tell you that he basically single handidly won the division for the Twins that year. He was the difference. Stats OFTEN don't tell the story. I will take a guy who watches every game of the season and doesn't know any stats opinion over a guy who only looks at numbers anyday.

He was awesome for the Twins in 2003 after the trade. He finished 4th in the AL MVP race.
  8. EinhornIsFinkle
is this the first time they have ever started the game with the roof closed - opened it - and closed it within the same game?
  9. EinhornIsFinkle
It wouldn't be Sheets without a homer or three.

    funny

So god listens to prayers. Well that was ugly....but wow did we need it. It's also a perfect representation of why neither the Brewers or Reds will do anything this season.

Come on Geoff....this is the only place you have earned your money this season. Do something.

As if I would bet on the Brewers http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Actually I would imagine that betting would take the joy out of being a fan (not that there is much joy in MIlwaukee right now).

Well in context with all my other posts I have already been complaining about that for a while. The fantasy thing is like salt in the wound.

Dear god - I know I don't talk to you much but if you could just find it in your heart to let the Brewers score 2 runs. Thank you in advance. Dean

The thing that really sucks is I'm in second in my fantasy baseball league and I"m playing the guy who is in first and I have Turnbow and he has Griffey. Not a great start to the fantasy week.
  17. EinhornIsFinkle
Paticularly since his fastball doesn't move and it doesn't matter how fast it is in the majors hitters can hit fastballs.
  18. EinhornIsFinkle
I figured that closer with Turnbow and Kolb around was the one spot we had covered coming into the season.
  19. EinhornIsFinkle
A bad bullpen is worse then a bad offense or bad starting pitching because at least with those you are usually out of the game early...now we just have to have our hearts broke all the time.
  20. EinhornIsFinkle
    Is anyone warming up?
  21. EinhornIsFinkle
Turnbow should just turn his all-star spot over to Cappy.
  22. EinhornIsFinkle
    Who thinks Dunn goes yard?
  23. EinhornIsFinkle
I know he has a boatload of saves but I feel it safe to say that most of us on this board really don't feel that Turnbow is a deserving All-Star. You just don't have that "safe" feeling when he comes into a game like we had last year. This entire year has been a struggle for him.
  24. EinhornIsFinkle
Ned needs to introduce Jenkins to the bench until at least the All Star Break and give Hart a real chance.
  25. EinhornIsFinkle
Weeks is really struggling lately. He is not driving the ball at all and the squibs aren't falling anymore.
