  1. If we scored about 8 more runs, I'd consider putting Turnblow in.
  2. 5-2...woo-hoo!!!!!!!! Why wasn't Mike Rivera the backup catcher all season?
  3. Hallelujah!!!!!!! Uke thinks Cordero is coming in....I hope so.
  4. Still an opportunity to add a couple more runs in case Nedly thinks it's a good idea to bring in Turnblow
  5. Team Canada, I didn't realize that Bell was 3-4 (now 4-5)...I've been in and out of the game today.
  6. Holy crap!!!!!!! Bell comes through in the clutch!
  7. Either a walk or a fly ball....Uke just said no position players left...we gotta win now!
  8. Not good....PINCH HIT FOR BELL!!!!!!!!
  9. Runners at 2nd and 3rd!!!!!!! YES!!!!! Just a ground ball to the right side.
  10. Or a walk....OK, Damian, just a hit...just a hit!
  11. Come on Bill....just a hit...not out of the park, just a hit.
  12. I'll still watch the games and pull for the team, but I don't see any way this team gets the wild card. Too many inconsistencies. This was a winnable game that they lost.
  13. How did Smoltz pitch better?? He's got the W
  14. Tough, tough game...Cappy pitched great but Smoltz was better....I don't get how Bow can go from a great closer before the All-Star break to a guy who can't do anything right. Coco should've come in for the 9th...he's our closer.
  15. Yeah, back in the wild card, until they lose 2 of 3 to the Braves....if they can start consistently taking about 3 or 4 series in a row, now we're talking.
  16. This game has me wondering, why can't they do this consistently? Taking walks, timely hitting...scoring runs!
  17. I fell asleep, and Daron's screaming woke me up! I was almost in a state of euphoria, but then the ball was caught. Oh well.
  18. It's like I'm a moth and the Brewers are a match....I'm drawn to it, even though I have a good suspicion as to what will happen. But, it's a roller coaster ride, and somewhere along the line, it's going to go up, and then down and up and down a few thousand more times, but I'm going to tune into the game.
  19. I don't know if I'd say that I'm restless, but more of frustrated with lack of execution. Last night, the pen came in and really shut down the Cards...plenty of chances to execute and score a run or two to take the lead...today, early in the game, Cappy was pitching a great game, and there were a few opportunities, but again, a lack of execution came through once again. This has happened over and over, not just this year, but as long as I started regularly going to Brewer games as a kid (about 1985 or so). We've been through new managers, new hitting coaches, new pitching coaches, so on, and so forth, and nothing has changed. Sure, you can use the injury excuse, but you have to be able to play baseball pretty well to make it to the major leagues. Earn your money, and do what you're supposed to do. WIN GAMES!
  20. Another game the team could have won, but threw down the toilet. Quite disappointing. I am completely at a loss for words.
  21. Other than Pujols and Rolen, not a whole lot in the Cards lineup today really scares me. We definitely have a great chance to win this game today (and should've won last night!)
  22. Hey, at least GG came in and did pretty well...this is a big game if we're going to make up ground.
  23. Tightness in his pect muscle...they just said that on WTMJ....crap! Uke just said it's not a bad thing. For what its worth
  24. As much as Joe Winklesas as a pitcher wasn't that great, the interviews and things I read about him as a person made me stop and take notice. I hope he gets a job as a pitching coach. Good luck Joe!
