    Funny thing about Michaels. Back in the 90's when he first started on WTMJ, I thought he called himself The Big Eunuch. So in my mind, that always stuck. As for sports talk, I've always tried to listen to local sports talk. When I lived in Portland, I was subjected to Cowherd before he became national. That stunk. When I lived in Sheboygan, I tried to listen to Milwaukee sports radio. It was alright. Living in San Antonio, I listened to local talk. Now, in Houston, the local guys are pretty good. The station I listen to isn't much of homers, they're pretty fair.

    I'm in Houston. This will be interesting to see what happens. Castro had a down year and is going to start making more money. They need a third baseman. Dominguez is garbage. I'm wondering if they might package Castro and someone else for a third baseman.

    My goodness, my Cards friends want Matheny gone and TLR back. Matheny can't do anything right, and he's a moran and blah, blah, blah. It's funny. The team has only won 2 World Series in the past 20 years and it's like there's this expectation that they should sweep the World Series every year. They didn't have that great of a team, and had our beloved Brewers not choked away their season, the Cards probably would have been sitting at home and not even played in the playoffs. Oh well. Royals in 5. Just seems like they're the team of destiny.

    Here's my thoughts ROSTER - Fill in player and salary C - Lucroy (3.0) C - Maldonado (1.0) 1B - Daric Barton (7.5) 2B - Scooter (0.5) SS - Segura (0.5) 3B - Chase Headley (10) LF - Davis (0.5) CF - Gomez (8.0) RF - Braun (14.5 includes prorated $2.5 million bonus he's due in April) INF - Emilio Bonifacio (5) INF - Hart (8.0) OF - Parra (6.0) OF - Schaefer (0.5) SP - Garza (12.5), Lohse (11.0), Nelson (0.5), Fiers (0.5), Peralta (0.5) RP - Broxton (9.0), Jeffress (0.5), Smith (0.5), Thornburg (0.5), Henderson (0.5), Pat Neshek (3.5), Andrew Miller (4.0) That's a $108.5 million roster. Probably won't shake out that way, but it's my guess.
