  1. Well he didn't take the bat off his shoulder for the best pitch he saw.
  2. With Brian and Woogie's ever expanding photo expertise, I always find myself drifting back to the original. For those are unfamiliar, here's the Wiki link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All...long_to_us Some of the photoshop work in the original thread was amazing, I was an Everquest geek at the time, and everything about that game became an "All Your Base" thing. All your loot are belong to us! and so on. To this day, it's still my favorite internet thread I ever came across. Lots of the pictures, the original flash of the game that started phenomenon, and such are located here: allyourbase.planettribes....ndex.shtml
  3. For me the chances are always slim until a player manages to hit AAA. It's the injury bug more than anything else, we just have to hope he stays healthy and then we'll see.
  4. A report earlier in the Year had Jeffress hitting 103 on the gun. Lets not get carried away about his velocity at this point. If he was in the High 80s, it was probably more like the low 90s, which sounds to me like he's working on controlling his fastball, instead of trying to blow it past hitters.
  5. I would absolutely love it, and I garuntee I'd go to at least 2 games a week on the homestands. That being said, I doubt it, but it would be cool.
  6. woogie is a JDLR fan as well, no hateful picture of him...
  7. Helena loses on a walkoff HR... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  8. Seidel wasn't as bad as his line would suggest. He was grooving a lot of first pitches and Missoula was all over them. He through a ton of strikes though.
  9. This Navarro guy for Missoula is amazing thus far, 6 for 6 on the year, and he's young.
  10. Haha I must have been in the bathroom and missed that.
  11. Did you mean eliminate?
  12. Ha, I didn't even realize it, I get to see Yo pitch too. Sunday is my entire extended family's father's day road trip to the Brewer Game.
  13. Seidel's change up got rave reviews in the first. I wasn't paying close enough attention as I'm working on lame contingency binders for work, but it got a mention as it we went to the break.
  14. Good read. I was surprised he didn't like the notion that statisticians were at odds with scouts, "they see things I don't see". I thought that was pretty insightful.
  15. He doesn't have a single impressive secondary number since A+, well at least to me.
  16. Also, is it just me or are there entirely too many rain outs in FL?
  17. I didn't include Schierholtz because he only had 22 ABs. Though I did include Alfonzo by accident as I was looking at his OBP and not his average, my mistake. They hit for decent average, they just hit for no power as a team, after Bonds who's SLG is impressive as always, the best SLG are mid 400s. The Brewers on the other hand currently have Fielder, Braun, Jenkins, Hardy, and Hart all SLG more than .500. I don't want to bag on Gwynn, but that's what they have, a bunch of decent Average guys with low OBPs and low SLG. That being said, they still managed a their fair share of HRs in the series.
  18. I'm excited to hear the Helena pitchers tonight, I've been looking forward to this since last years draft.
  19. The Giants have 4 guys who are .290+, they might not string hits together to score runs, but their hitters aren't terrible. BALLGAME!
  20. Which side of home plate and how many rows up? I didn't notice.
  21. 5 feet or so... he was 2 steps onto the warning track.
  22. That was an interesting tidbit, 22 teams have used more lineups than the crew this year. Not that I was against Ned's tinkering, it didn't bother me, but the fact that 22 teams have used more lineups is scary. Maybe a set lineup is a thing of the past?
  23. Brian you have become the picture king suddenly.
