  1. This is tougher than I originally thought... eliminating Brewerfan.net staffers to just "posters" leaves me with the following RobertR, DHonks, X, and Ndog44 would be the final four, I'd probably have to conduct extensive interviews and finally be bribed to pick a winner. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  2. TLB, Obviously it wasn't his fault, though his lack of production at the plate certainly didn't help. More a reflection of how I felt about the team's offense during his starts, not about his pitching performance. Thank you and please drive through!
  3. Well, that might true this year, but in year's past when Ben took the mound I fully expected the crew to lose 2-1 or 1-0, but I get your point.
  4. first post? Interesting matchup tomorrow between Houston and San Fran.
  5. I just don't get Spurling, his stuff is good, seriously he's got good stuff. I just wish he'd just make the good pitch consistently. He's been decent his last few outings, his first couple left quite a bit to be desired. edit.. See, cruising along, then a pitch that misses by a good 3 feet.
  6. Holy wow he crushed that one too. When Pierre quit running you know it was gone. Awful thin skinned aren't we considering there is a 4 page thread on the Major League forum that's been up at the top of the list for the last 4 days or so. Also, I wasn't coming down on you, I was pointing out that you were likely to get no responses considering that the topic was pretty much talked out previously.
  7. Rousie that's been beat to death on the MLB forum.
  8. I woke up at the perfect time, this rules.
  9. Is he hurt? I just had the notion to look up his stats and he only has 34 ABs on the season, for a BA just above the Mendoza line. Just curious. Nevermind, I see he's on the reserve list now, and Eveland is on the DL.
  10. Well he could of walked, but I'll take the wounded duck.
  11. I fall asleep before 8PM bored and watching Friends, to wake and find the crew up 3-0. Me likey.
  12. Hasn't it just been every other day, or did I miss a day? Or is that normal, I thought he caught more than that in the past, DH'd like once or twice a week.
  13. Any word on when Salome is going to resume catching?
  14. If not Yo, Balfour and Thatcher can help the big league this year.
  15. but then Huntsville comes all the way back to win on Katin's HR, nice win for the AA club today.
  16. Does Braddok have good movement on his fastball? Anyone know?
  17. To all priests in Milwaukee, All of the Brewer players except JJ Hardy are in need of an excorcism, rectify the situation immediately pls thx. The Pope.
  18. Dear Ned/Mike, Please do not let Bush pitch past the 6th inning anymore. Also, some consistent offense sometime this month would be great. Thank you, A dejected crew fan who thought we'd turn the corner once we got back to Milwaukee.
  19. I told myself I wouldn't get excited about Palmisano till it was mide June and he was still over .300 which it seemed like it was so far away a week or 2 ago. Now it's pretty darn close... I don't remember much talk about his defense, does anyone have first hand knowledge how he does the job?
  20. ohh my wow. That's like highschool girls softball games when I was in school.
  21. I don't have a problem with it, Yo had a no hitter going the other night when I posted his line, but looking at his pitch count it was pretty clear he wasn't going to get through the 9th even if the opportunity presented itself.
  22. You don't need the best players End, just the best team. I don't see anything wrong with trying to improve the worst 2 spots in the pen, just like trying to get best the possible bench for position players.
  23. Thatcher and Balfour intrigue me, as does Yo, for pen replacements on the big club in the second half. It's bothersome to me that we have 4 guys who essentially can only pitch one inning, and one of those guys isn't able to pitch back to back.
