  1. I had forgotten how well Katin hit before his promotion. My bad.
  2. I got that... I meant why do you think the 2 tandems of players are similar?
  3. The surest way for the crew to lose is for people to post how favorable the pitching matchups are, or how beatable the other teams are. Do not be the jinx!
  4. Pogo how so? Other than one is mashing and the other is hitting below average, I don't see a similarity. I'm curious on your opinion.
  5. If it's a shoulder, I seriously might cry.
  6. Cole Gillespie hasn't hit all year, and hasn't been talked about much. Meanwhile, Errecart continues to mash, and I still think he'll be the first position player promoted up the chain this year.
  7. Sort of sad that as of right now the 2 worst hitters in that lineup are Hall and Weeks... or maybe it's good, I guess it depends on your perspective.
  8. I really dislike Bill... "That has to be a base hit doesn't it?" Yea, cause when the ball hits square on the heel of the glove it's not the fielder's fault he dropped it?
  9. I have nothing of substance to add (not that I ever do), I just wanted to say that JJ absolutely rocks, that is all.
  10. Why yes, yes I do, and suddenly I feel better about this game.
  11. Wow that was a good at bat by Gwynn
  12. Tbow and Coco cannot pitch every game, the Brewers are playing so many close games that eventually they are going to have to close out a tough game without one or both of them, unless they add another pitcher to the active roster. Billy said it right in the major league forum, people need to relax a bit and quit blowing every situation way out of porportion in regards to Yost
  13. a not so economical 80 pitches for Cappy through 5, but still only 1 run.
  14. Cappy just doesn't have the command tonight, 50 pitches already... only 1 run... but that's a ton of pitches through 3
  15. Braun with yet another XBH... 2B this time. Errecart an early candidate to get bumped up at the halfway point. Also, Nelson has been hot in April before only to totally disappear the rest of the season. Wasn't it 2005? He had like 8 doubles early. I refuse to let myself get excited about Nelson or Palmisano again... well, maybe at the halfway point if they can keep it going. Until then I eagerly await the return of Salome...
  16. It's irritating that Albers is missing his spots by 18-24 inches consistently and the Brewers aren't taking advantage.
  17. I like that. edit. Also Braun seems streaky... feast or famine type, and no I'm not comparing him to Jenkins. It's probably just my memory and won't hold statistical water, but he seems to go 2-4, 3-4, 3-3 then 0-3, 0-4, 1-5. If someone has time I'd be curious how many mutiple hit games he has vs 1 hit or no hit games.
  18. I'll get excited about Lou when I get down on Cain...
  19. Cain's average has doubled in the last 5 days... I'm trying not to jinx him, so I'll just leave it at that.
  20. Cain's average is climbing, he was hitting .080 2 games ago.
  21. Good solid win for the crew. Just need to get Corey and Billy going now...
  22. Yo laboring a bit, all of a sudden having trouble finding the zone, up around 100 pitches though too.
  23. In 3 ABs for Jenks he's seen a total of 7 pitches.
  24. Yo is also 1 for 2! edit. Good for Weeks, hits a HR while I'm checking the Nashville boxscroe.
