For instance... I wrote "DFA Duffy" yesterday and it was hid. These are the kind of post I look forward to reading when i go through the thread.

I usually end up reading the IGTs after the game is over. Some of my favorite parts are the 18 posts in a row saying "Braun for Pres!" when he hits a HR or "Weeks sucks!" whenever he commits an error. I usually do join the in game chat when I am on my computer, but that doesn't happen too often (at least it hasn't in the past).

no worries, I know there are other IGTs that allow for the more random comments. If BF.net would prefer to keep their threads clean and informative, that's the choice of the Mods. I'm not going to get too upset over it. Is anyone willing to do Play by Play? MLB.com is slacking.....

I am just going to state the opinion that I feel the new rules take a bit away from the IGTs. I really enjoy the short reactionary (often sarcastic) comments. I am guessing there is a good reason for the change in the rules, but I am a little disappointed. Just my opinion...

I don't see any reason to Monitor Weeks or Hart. They are solidified in the lineup.

Do we really want our #5 starter from a year ago getting the most starts this year? No, we don't. But we also want to limit innings to our young pitchers as much as possible. We want to get our new "ace" in a less pressurized situation. Sure, its not ideal to have Suppan, Bush, or Looper as our "#1" pitcher. But as has been said, over the course of the season, it doesn't matter. By the time September rolls around, our best pitchers will be pitching as many games as they can.

I'm also in the market for a TV in the next couple months. If anyone on here has a recommendation for a TV around the 45-50" range, that'd be very much appreciated. Also, can I get some input on Plasma vs LCD? I've heard pros and cons on both, but would love some more input.

Update for those who do not watch. Danny Gokey was the leading vote getter for the men and has made it into the top 12 of American Idol. He now has a few weeks off before he has to compete again.

I've actually seen reports that because people go on less vacations, they have more money for smaller "luxuries" like going to baseball games. I'd say at worst, the amount of people who go to more vs the amount that go to less will cancel out. -
