LOL... awesome double post, both with "hmmmmmmmmm"
  3. zzzmanwitz
Lengthy staff meeting before the game today? hmmmmmmmmm
  4. zzzmanwitz
Gywnn would be part of the deal. So we would still have 6 OFs.

Is he crying and giving everyone hugs? LOL anyways, here's another site with more speculation for anyone who wants to kill some more time at work. http://www.realgm.com/boards/baseball/viewtopic.php?t=3284&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

It makes more sense if we are moving Hall back to 2nd base and sending Weeks to the Minors. Our team would be unstoppable if we moved Hall back to the IF I didn't even think about that!!! That would be a great move on Ned's part. I feel in order to do that we would have to either option Weeks or DL him, but that would be a sexy lineup, and we wouldn't have to trade Geoff. I'd be a happy man.

It might just be that they are waiting until the game is over to release this news. There may not be anything to report. If Wise pitches today its a dead deal.

I would be a bigger fan of this Hart Dunn Braun Fielder Hall Estrada Hardy Weekselino Pitcher

nothing yet, still speculation They are talking to an Arizona reporter about Eric Byrnes saying he will test the FA market at the end of the season and he will now likely be traded before the deadline. I'd almost be more interested in Byrnes than Dunn.

Adam Dunn + Ryan Braun = Nick's Mancrush Gets So Large His Head Explodes ...... ummmmmm (insert dirty joke here)
  11. zzzmanwitz
nothing new yet, they are on a commercial break

does anyone know the reds fan site? I'd be curious to know what they are saying right now since they are listening to the radio down there.

The rumor from Cincy does not involve T-Bow
  14. zzzmanwitz
Tbow is going no where. I would not want to do this trade if he is involved. Tbow may have to be our closer next season.

This should be kept in the Rumors thread until it is confirmed.

As much as I like the addition of Dunn, it MUST be followed up by aquiring a reliever. Update: This is from a cincinnati radio station. And it is NOT confirmed by WSSP yet. The whole deal would be Dunn for Wise, TGJ, and an IF prospect. However, TGJ is in the starting lineup, making them skeptical.
  17. zzzmanwitz
If it happens, i'm guessin they move Jenkins or Mench and maybe TGJ for a reliever once Hall comes back.
  18. zzzmanwitz
I have no link because it was a radio report... but they basically said: "BREAKING NEWS! The Brewers are close to aquiring Adam Dunn for Matt Wise and a PTBNL." Turn on WSSP and they are talking about it off and on with some reporters.

12:00 PM... I'm listening to the pre-game show and they just said its pretty much a "Dunn" deal HAHAHAHA http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  20. zzzmanwitz
Sportsradio 1250 WSSP just reported that Dunn is close to becoming a Brewer for Wise and a PTBNL edit: Apparently they got their info from brewerfan.net http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I'm not too worried about it. Players go through slumps and hot streaks. JJ will pick it up as we near the end of the season. Luckily, right now our pitching is stepping up and keeping us in close games. There is a reason we have as many runs scored this year as we do, and that is that we have a very good offense. We just gotta get through this rough spell.

I think i'd rather give Parra a chance in the rotation and leave CV as the long man. Does cappy have options left?
  23. zzzmanwitz
I agree, that was pretty rude. I love Sutton and was very sad to see him go. Any support for him would be well appreciated by me.
  24. zzzmanwitz
Wow... I'm loving these moves. Its sad to see sheets go down, but I'm excited to see Gallardo start again and see Parra and Balfour in the pen. Its a good time to be a Brewer fan.

Nevermind... didn't know Hall was hurt.
