  1. what the heck!? Two strikes and you're going for the DP? oh jeez...i can see this one going the other way real quick...
  2. Hart, Braun, Fielder due up. Let's go guys, get us back on top.
  3. I, too, was at that game, and it was my birthday, matter of fact. It was also the worst game I've ever attended.
  4. hopefully we'll be rid of him long before then...
  5. i'm about 80% sure you need to press the left arrow button to designate which base runner you want to send, then L2.
  6. My leash has officially broken.
  7. Up in the nosebleeds, there was a scuffle that involved a couple left hooks and some beer bottles thrown. I'm not sure who threw the first punch, but the Cubs fans "won the fight" due to the fleeing of the Brewer fans. The police were also brought up to my section (436) because some woman was smoking, however by the time they got up there, the cigarette was out, and they got away with it. Overall, I'd say it had to have been 50-50. There was absolutely no cheering help where I sat. A couple buddies and I went and we were surrounded by Cubs fans for the most part. They were fine...the gentleman in front of me kept goin back and forth with me, discussing our teams, but it was all in good fun. Another Cubs gentleman was discussing the game with my buddies, as well. There were even a few younger fellows joking around with us at the end of the game. As for the right field bleacher incident, I did manage to see the ball person pick up some object from the field at around the 6th inning or so. It also sounded like there was a lot of noise coming from the left field bleachers. The wave last night was pretty stellar, considering everyone in the park pretty much took part in it.
  8. Kendall hit a hard ball to left field in the SF series, but other than that, I think the rest of his at-bats have all either ended up as a soft grounder to third or strikeout.
  9. I'll probably just end up watching the game on WGN, or listening to Ueck.
  10. I could still use one. I will try looking around the stadium when I go to the game tomorrow, but in case I don't find any, I could really use a helping hand!
  11. Again, I never said right now. I was talking about at either the deadline or sometime this offseason.
  12. I thought we got rid of the venting threads from now on.
  13. Absolutely tragic. This would be similar to Manny Parra being killed in a car crash. I wish the best to Mr. Adenhart's family, and to the Angels this season. Now they'll have their own 'angel' looking down on them. RIP
  14. i noticed that too. they missed a couple more players other than Duffy though.
  15. Geoff Jenkins and Richie Sexson are free agents.
