  1. Actually, McGehee has been so bad this year he isn't even much of an option vs. left handed pitching (AVG .245/OBP .300/SLG .360/OPS .660).

  24. It is a great feel good story and I am happy for the Pirate fans. If they were in any other division, I would be pulling for them. They seem to have done a lot of damage lately against the Astros, Nationals and Cubs (which is what good teams are suppose to do). This next stretch is going to tell a lot about this team as they are at home vs. CIN and STL. Then they are on the road at ATL and PHI to finish out the month. On that note, I hope we own the Pirates again this year.
  25. If Green is on the block for anyone who has been mentioned like Carroll or Betemit (KRod trade included), it would be one of the dumbest moves DM could make in our left infield situation. The left of our infield is a major issue holding us back. With a depleted farm system currently, we do not have a lot of prospects desired nor can we afford to move the ones that are. Even if Taylor Green falters some, he doesn't ruin his trade value or his potential on this team in the future. If anything you at least improve defense; however, I can't see Green batting much worse than the current solution. On top of that, when Green doesn't get hits he seems fine taking walks (something left to be desired on the left side of the infield).
