  1. KRod diving and Prince running over to help him up is just something we are not used to seeing. This has been a flipping awesome run.
  2. With him and Taylor Green really coming on, it really makes the system not look SO bad. Peralta is dealing!
  3. Did the human windmill switch teams for this inning? Nice throw Hairston!
  4. Come on Yuni, the way Westbrook has been tonight you need to atleast look at one.
  5. Agreed, the board is quiet. Nice start so far by Wolf and Hairston's defense has been refreshing tonight.
  6. Yuni, I like the new Yuni. Speaking English and hitting.
  7. Well if the first inning was good for anything, Westbrook's pitch count is rising quickly.
  8. I am trying to stay confident that Casey will turn it around but he still seems lost. Just saying.
  9. If today is any sign of Casey breaking out of it, then I would have no problem admitting I was wrong if we ride him to the playoffs as well. Either way, I still think Green has a place on this team. Atleast we should see him in September.
  10. Are you Doug Melvin or Tom Haudricourt? If so please stop giving us blue sky. By the way I am joking unless of course you are one of those two. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  11. Then compare them to Brandon wood in AAA at 23. I'm definitely not saying green shouldn't have been given a chance by now...but if he struggled mightily in the majors he wouldn't be the first guy to do so, and he certainly wouldn't be the last. He should have had his shot by now...but aaa success certainly doesn't always translate well to MLB success I get what you are saying. I don't think anyone here is trying to say that Taylor Green will have MLB success. I think everyone here is trying to say he should have been up to see what we have.
  12. Not as sick as we are not seeing him up in Milwaukee http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  13. While it usually isn't safe to assume, we are with the Eric Farris call up. There really isn't any reason to bring him up over Green at this point which is leading many to believe he is a PTBNL for the Mets. If Farris is a defensive move then you might as well just start Counsell since neither can hit.
  14. At this point though, one's got to think that some of Melvin's aggressiveness is encouraged by Attanasio and his desire to win. Since Doug is the one making the moves he deserves the majority of the credit/blame; I just happen to think that Mark A. encourages it. To what degree is anyone's guess, but he encourages it none-the-less.While that may be the case, it is Doug's job to explain why we shouldn't mortgage our entire future. It is like my millenial generation, everything is wanted now with lack of future thought.
  15. I don't get these people calling into WSSP. Eric Farris is the right defensive move. Ummm, do they not realize Counsell can play good defense while not hitting. Sorry just super frustrated with Melvin at this point. Good luck to Taylor Green in New York. Like I said, if this team doesn't win the World Series Melvin needs to move on for mortgaging our entire future.
