    i think the bulk of our "championship" team is already in uniform in some way shape or form as a brewer.

    i do not want any major players on the cubs. they CAN overspend. they have a decent enough payroll to make it happen and work if it partially fails. i'd rather see the sox and yanks steal them if we can't get em.

    NO! i do not want to give up pitching in this trade. the only d-ray i really want is kazmhir (sp?) and that would cost too much. i hate gutting the team for one player.. remember the dbacks gutted there team for our one player (basically) look what that got them.. he left after an injury year, and they got nothin.

    pitching russ...pitching. the yankees too had one of the best lineups (on paper) look where that landed them. the phillies would probably be looking at davis/cappy/sheets/bush..... from our rotation and even some of the younger guys.

    i agree with the last post.. the only REALLY big spenders (the yanks ) don't seem to need him.

    i agree. and soriano won't fuss about being a 2b. i just don't see it happening. and if he really is friends with co co....why not? soriano in left...hall in center.......hart in right...... braun at third and hardy at shortstop.. now just think if we got both arod and soriano this year...........http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif just kidding.. lets focus on one .. and i think it should be soriano because we need a power bat in the outfield.

    does anyone not see the benefits of every team winning the world series? mets---soley to irritate george steinbrenner...haha yankees cards--- in our division..shows hey i think our division was the toughest in the nl this year. a's----small market story.. tigers-- david beating a bunch of goliaths.... two new york teams in one playoff? how awesome would that be

    i'm rooting for the mets in the nl.. but the al is such a hard choice. i would probably have to go with the a's becuase of there small market status.
