i agree keep miller around. he leaves after 07... rivera and estrada catch in 08...we finally have depth at catcher ..and we wanna trade it away. i don't think we are too hurting at any position. obviously we aren't perfect.. but we need these catchers.
carlos in houston... soriano in chicago. what we have hear is problems for the other pitching staffs in the division. add that in to the cardinals order ..and the reds... I am going to go on a limb and say this division will be the best offensive division in baseball. maybe even pitching wise too...
heck yes theres interest. we have to take a chance and a one year deal isn't that big of one.. cordero gagne turnbow cappellan wise that isnt a BAD pen.
the question is; will brady clark hit 20 homers in coors field or be a starter hitting 3 home runs . that would be too funny.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
but, did pierre steal unsuccesfully because of some coaching..i know the cubs coaching staff is brilliant but..http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
"The Brewers were reportedly pursuing him either that year or the year before, when he signed on with the Marlins, but wouldn't touch the price tag." Does anyone else get sick when you hear that statement?
right and then when hardy comes back healthy and hitting in AAA , move him to short and graff to the bench. hall is probably going to wind up in center field in the long run.
i wouldnt trade either of them until one prooves to be far greater then the other in the majors. even then, you might want to hold on to them both because pitching depth is really important.
lmao at that last post...if he wasnt so expensive i'd consider it. even if he just quits half way through the year...that would be 3 months that he could be hitting home runs...and he needs all the time in the world.
