    soriano is 16-18 million worth if anyone thought carlos was worth 12. he has speed and can hit for higher average . i don't think he would want to play second but if he would , i would move weeks to center and hall in left.

    another piece to add to this topic is that there is no way the marlins trade willis for arod... why would they do that? willis is cheap and anchor of that staff. they have miguel cabrera at third and hanley ramierez at short. i just don't see the 14 mill marlins adding a rod.

    arod would excel in the non pressure of playing here.. i am sure he would consider it. why trade hall? move him to center field. we could even move arod to short when braun comes to play third therefore making hardy expendable or bench material until he is ready to move on.

    well i never shy away from putting a team out there a rod would be third base and then short stop when braun is ready thus moving hardy via trade ...unless hardy could come off the bench. (and it hurts me to suggest moving him) whoever is more major league capable braun vs hardy .. depends on where arod would play... imagine trading jenkins GWYNN inmann hendrickson krynzel for arod and half his salary then trade davis and mench for minor leage bullpen help and catching sign barry zito/schmidt sheets zito/schmidt capuano bush villanueva cordero turnbow wise cappellan shouse sarfate helling lf soriano ok ok likely a gross/clark platoon 2b weeks 1b fielder 3b arod cf hall rf hart ss hardy c miller rivera graff cirillo koskie gross/clark

    bill p. practically was given up on the dodgers on a around the horn episode in late july. now he acts like he was there all along. that bugs me. now i dont care who wins the AL and want the cards/padres series winner to win the Nl..

    if the twins were to win today.. i would go with johahn for game 4 just to get the series back to the dome. and then pitch either boof or radke (depending on the number of days in between games 4 and 5)
