i am in the minority...but GOOD
  2. thefutureishere2006
i agree. you draft for overall talent. it is like here at winona, the coach said that he goes by who makes the baseball team by hitting/pitching... and in the even it is a close race.. he looks at defense and variety of positions they can play.

i just dont think turnbow should be given up on after one half year of bad pitching.
  4. thefutureishere2006
is this milwaukee kid any good? just becuase he was born here doesn't mean we should gush over him. . ?
  5. thefutureishere2006
it is looking more and more like doug is striking out this winter...if he is trying. i know it's early. but jenkins is gonna stay i have a feeling...
  6. thefutureishere2006
why? im not wild on giving up on turnbow...i am crossing my fingers that ozzie holds his ground and screws this whole thing up.
  7. thefutureishere2006
i think turnbow will be back to allstar form next year... just wait.
  8. thefutureishere2006
is bannister the one that throws 89 or the other guy,.... i do not want a guy like that on my team no matter what.
  9. thefutureishere2006
while im not sold on the idea of "depleting" the offense, i do know there have been much worse brewer lineups out there.
  10. thefutureishere2006
you just wanna sit next to anna benson at millerhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif i would trade mench for him in a second.
  11. thefutureishere2006
if we did sign schmidt , i would hope to goodness that we didn't trade CV . schmidt wouldnt be here forever...and if he WAS ..vargas wouldnt..nor shouldn't
  12. thefutureishere2006
who signs kolb then? royals marlins pirates japan?
  13. thefutureishere2006
i am in the trade mench but not jenks camp. (if there is such a thing) i just feel jenks is going to have a decent year and mench is garbage...
  14. thefutureishere2006
good point a cheaper alternative as a defensive replacement would be necessary.
  15. thefutureishere2006
ok..then bring in jenks to play left late in games for man ram...... and other wise platoon him and hart.
  16. thefutureishere2006
let it be known i knwo its unrealistic and his defense is horrible . but the batting order would look nice.
  17. thefutureishere2006
it is a nice lineup...jenkins can come off the bench in defensive relief late in ball games...
  18. thefutureishere2006
can he be signed to a minor league deal...or else maybe jose c could be in the minors to tweak some things?
  19. thefutureishere2006
    me too....its unanimous http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif jk
  20. thefutureishere2006
those cubs fans won't stop at anythinghttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  21. thefutureishere2006
how many of these "trade rumors" end up true anyway...we can't trade hall unless it is for a true ace...peavy...carpenter..type...
  22. thefutureishere2006
or how bout do this. start estrada (that is a given) and let miller back him up and start every 5-7 games to keep his bat semi fresh...i like the veteran presence off the bench... then split jd..and rivera's time in AAA pretty much 50-50..then in 08 spring training .. the better 2 of jd ..rivera and estrada...stay in milwaukee. the other one (assuming miller retires) goes via trade or has another year in AAA with lou (he is still around right?)
  23. thefutureishere2006
you seriously wouldn't take schimdt.. what is there a rule that in order to start in milwaukee you have to be young?
  24. thefutureishere2006
something has to be up. how many outfielders do we need... jenkins mench clark hall** gross gwynn hart nix--yeah i forgot about him theres gotta be more but you get the point
  25. thefutureishere2006
i really thought we could sign schimdt/zito/soriano and have them be our "Reggie" moment...http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif when is it happening doug?
