The Magical Magic Number is… (part 2)
AZBrewCrew replied to liveforoctober's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Dbacks pitching is helping us out tonight in regards to HFA though... 3-0 PIT in the 5th -
Padres are up 4-2 on the Dbacks right now in the 6th

I saw someone wearing a Sedar jersey during the AZ series in Phoenix...had on the road gray jersey.

Josh Lewin and Mitch Williams. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gifI plan to find out whether it is better to stand up and continuously kick yourself in the crotch with the heel of a boot compared to listening to these guys for 2 innings. I'll report my findings. Its funny this was mentioned, I just got off the phone with my dad who is up by Eau Claire, and his first comment was "are you listening to these clowns on the tv? I couldnt take it anymore and had to mute it and turn on Uecker"

For those with SiriusXM, the game is on channel 187....but its not Ueck and Provus, its the Fox national feed. ugh.
-
add me to the list of people who are not pleased about being shown the Rays/Yankees game instead of the Brewers. I guess I will fire up the At Bat app and listen to Uecker inside here in Phoenix

that was pretty good!

Anyone else locked out?
AZBrewCrew replied to crossface21's topic in Brewer Fanatic Issues & Suggestions
I had the issue late afternoon and all evening last night. -
I thought he said it once or twice during the beginning of the interview. Maybe I heard wrong, I will have to watch again.

Ugh!!! "Harris-ton"!!!!
-
Man i hate the Cardinals. Classy.move there LaRussa.

I was thinking the same thing about Carpenter's jersey too. Greinke didnt seem to be anywhere near as "sweaty" as him, even though it would show up more prominently on a gray jersey vs a white jersey.

Im pretty sure i just saw a guy wearing a crown that said "Yun-E6" on it...only place Ive seen that reference is here on BF. Possible member maybe???

Nice job defense!!!

Loe warming up for MKE. ugh.

I think the fact that I didnt goto the game tonight contributed to the loss as well. lol. But on a serious note, I think it will be good for Prince to get out of PHX. I think the HR Derby stuff has gotten into his head too much. I just hope we can pick up a win or 2 against SFO.

pitchleague, we were right next to the Brewers bullpen, section 108. I guess its just a cultural difference between other teams and the AZ fans. They seemed to get really hyped up over routine fly balls, yet remained lifeless on doubles and scoring plays. I also agree about the boos getting to Prince. He just seems to be swinging for the fences at every AB. I would love to see him get ahold of one though just to quiet the boo-birds.

Great win tonight. That being said, I never used to have an issue with AZ fans...until tonight. We had an older gentleman sitting a couple rows in front of us who decided it would be a wise idea to threaten physical harm upon us in the 8th inning because according to him we were being "inconsiderate" by cheering loudly for our team. Long story short, we got escorted out by the rent a cops where MCSO and PPD were waiting for us, I relayed the threat of violence towards us and the PD said they would handle it, we were moved to another section (better seats anyways) and this gentleman was removed from the stadium, all the while saying "im a season ticket holder". Edit: off subject, but the attendance broke 19,000 tonight. lol.

Yep that was me!!! My buddy was wearing the retro Yount jersey. Tonight was the first time wearing the shirt, I may have to wear it again tomorrow as tonights game result was pretty impressive http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Great game tonight, sported the new T Plush shirt. Dbacks fans were still booing Prince and Rickie's AB's tonight. Yet another weak crowd turnout tonight. Last night was just under 18k as was tonight. This has nothing to do with it being a weeknight, this is a typical crowd unless they have some kind of giveaway. Like another poster mentioned,PHX just isnt a baseball town.
