  1. Oh God, I can't take this. Please come through for once, Rickie. Get hit by a pitch if you have to. Anything to tie the game.
  2. Hey, remember when the Brewers could score 9 runs in a game, let alone in a series? Thanks for rubbing it in, Brian.
  3. Well there's something positive. Hopefully Kapler has some magic left in his bat.
  4. Well hit...into Ankiel's glove. I wonder what the reaction will be if Hardy grounds out weakly to short to end the game.
  5. Just a guess as to what's going to happen in the 9th: - Hart singles - Hart steals second - Hall strikes out - Hardy grounds out to short, holding Hart at second - Kapler flies out to left
  6. Needless to say, I'm not entirely confident in Hart-Hall-Hardy doing anything in the 9th. At this point, the only reason I'm watching is just to see what else can go wrong. If the Ned Yost Era has been good for anything, it's been the 6-, 7-, 8-game losing streaks that end up producing a multitude of pathetically hilarious blunders.
  7. I'm starting to enjoy these three-pitch shallow pop outs. Please tie this, Prince.
  8. Nasty pitch by Torres to Ludwick. Can he start? Seriously, I'm just throwing out random names now and trying to figure out if they could start like this is an OOTP game or something. Maybe the Brewers could experiment with the idea that Piniella used down in Tampa about the relief pitchers starting the game and the starters finishing the game.
  9. How about sticking Joe Dillon at 2B for a couple games? Didn't he play there last year in the game where Graffanino tore his ACL?
  10. I still like him, but he can't hit righties and he is approaching Rickie Weeks type batting AVG. I really wish Branyan was up to platoon with him at 3B. At least Weeks still has the ability to get on base every once and awhile. Hall only gets on base if he's hitting a home run.
  11. Well in this game hasn't happened since the 1st Whoops...forgot about that. Could be because Braun's hit was an infield single. Ugh...and that would be why running on contact isn't a good idea with 0 outs.
  12. Prince hacks 3-0...nice one to get Braun over to third. First time in awhile that Braun and Prince have gotten back-to-back hits, isn't it?
  13. New drinking game -- take a shot every time a Brewer pops up to the shallow OF with a runner in scoring position.
  14. And Tony Gwynn, Jr. scores from first on the Weeks double. ...oh, wait. That's right. Ned's genius hit and run was foiled.
  15. And that'd be why hit and runs are incredibly stupid. Especially against a Molina brother.
  16. Knocked the hell out of that one, Slappy. Luckily the Cards are fielding like the Brewers tonight.
  17. I've got a bad feeling about a Pujols 2-out HR.
  18. Gotta love free runs, especially when Wellemeyer was blatantly trying to walk Hardy.
  19. Sounds suspicious. Better call the cops about the guy possibly trespassing.
  20. Stop. Trying. To. Hit. Home. Runs. These 100 foot pop ups are killing me.
  21. Brendan Ryan pulls a Ryan Braun at third...should be two errors on one play.
  22. I find it interesting that both the Yankees and the Diamondbacks won the World Series the season after firing Buck Showalter and replacing him with a laid-back manager.
  23. Uppercut swings suck. I think the Brewers should adopt the Willie Mays Hayes rule for a couple games. If anyone hits a ball in the air, they need to drop and give Ned 20 push-ups at home, on the spot.
