  1. Here is my team for 2007. 2006 Offseason: The Brewers will trade for Catching and Relief Pitching. Trade Mench, and Hammonds for Chris Ray of Baltimore Trade Clark, Kolb and Hendrickson to the Pirates for Gonzalez. This would reinforce our Bullpen corps, leaving us with CoCo, D-Bow, M. Gonzalez, Capellan, Shouse, Kolb, and Ray. Sign Ohka to a two year 10 mil contract Trade Ohka, Fermaint and Salome to the Braves for Saltamacchia. Sign Hall to a 4yr 13mil contract Sign Cappy to a 4yr 18 mil contract Sign Davis to a 1yr 3.3MIL cotract sign Shouse to a 1yr 1mil contract Sign Kolb to a 1yr 2.2mil contract Sign Rillo to a 1yr 1mil contract. That would leave us with a lineup of 1B - Fielder 2B - Weeks 3B - Hall SS - Hardy LF - Nix CF - Gywnn RF - Hart Bench Gross Rivera Cirillo Braun Starting Pitchers Sheets Cappy Davis Bushy Gallardo Bullpen CoCo Gonzalez Turnbow Ray Kolb Capellan Shouse
  2. Is a dislocated ankle really going to put him on the DL for months? that would be bad.
  3. Do we know anything more about Hackman, what about his stuff, and i started a thread about it.
  4. Do we know anything more about Hackman, what about his stuff, and i started a thread about it.
  5. Rluz, you did know Cruz was traded, right.
  6. Endaround, even if they are thirty, and they have big league stuff, a #2 or 3 starter stuff I would take him.
  7. How do you compare minor league production, to what the player would do in the Majors. Are there any simple formulas?
  8. If we get six players, I think we should send: Hurricane Manny Parra Rogers Ryan Braun Brendan Katin Lou Palmisano
  9. Good pitching throughout the minors for the Crew tonight. Braddock blew up, and Jones was a little shakky. Here are the lines of the pitchers tonight. Eveland 6.0IP 2H 0R 0ER 3W 7K 1.92ERA 96pitches. So far, Nashville started at 905 so he is still pitching. With the high pitch count he might only have a inning left. Dillard 7.2IP 6H 2R 2ER 0W 3K 3.38ERA. Capellan got the rehab start, it was a 1 inning stint with 2K and no hits. Dillard pitched great to get the win, 3-2 over Mobile. Jones 4.0IP 3H 2R 2ER 1W 2K 3.22ERA. Jones got knocked around a little, but got the ND, as Brevard lost to Sarasota 5-3. Braddock didn't do good at all, giving up 3ER in 3.2IP. Inman did good, I don't need to tell you that. and Ramirez pitched and gave up 1ER over 7IP for the rookie brewers
  10. I was talking about my team that I made. Yes, any team with Kapler on it isn't going to be good.
  11. Ok, why would that be a crappy team. By the way, were is your team, I don't see one. Not smart enough to make one.
  12. 2006 off season trades Davis, Wise, Sarfate, Jenkins, Gross, Clark + 5mil for Garza and Nathan, a good lefty starter to complement Santana and Liriano, two pretty good relief pitchers, and three outfielders, white is getting old, they are stretched at DH, and all I ask is a closer and a prospect. Bush and Ohka + 5mil for Danks and Diamond, the pitching will bolster the already weak and young staff of the rangers, and will give good young pitching back. Hendrickson, Rogers, Diamond, Hammonds for Papelbon and Delcarmen, hopefully four great prospects will be enough to get these two, but maybe not. Eveland, Jackson, Villanueva for Hughes, this might be a longshot. Gellespie, Fermaint for Saltamacchia, the brewers need a catcher more than anything, and the outfield is still jammed with players, so why not trade are 2 best outfield prospects for there best catcher, Jones isn?t getting younger. Signings sign Hall to a 2yr, 6.5mil deal (3,3.5) sign Mench to a 1yr, 4 mil deal (4) sign Bell to a lyr, 4.5 mil deal (4.5) sign 'Rillo to a 1yr, 1mil deal (1) sign Cappy to a 2yr, 9 mil deal (4,5) purchase Hughes, Gallardo's, and Garza's, and Saltalamacchia's contracts pick up Cordero's 5Mil option sign papelbon to a 2yr 10mil deal (4.5,5.5) Infield Fielder ? 1B ? 329K Weeks ? 2B ? 500K Hardy ? SS - 355K Hall - 3B - 3 mil Saltalamacchia - C - 329K* Outfield Mench - LF - 4mil Gwynn - CF - 327K Hart - RF - 329K Bench Bell - 4.5 Mil Gross - 335K Rivera - 327K Cirillo - 1 mil Offense Total 15.331MIL SP Ben Sheets - 10MIL Cappy - 4MIL Gallardo - 329K Hughes - 329K* Garza - 329K* Bullpen Papelbon - 4.5mil Nathan - 5.25mil Cordero - 5 mil Turnbow - 2.3mil Delcarmen - 329K* Danks - 329K* Another relief pitcher ? 750K Pitching Total 33.445MIL Grand Total 48.776MIL Well short of the 60mil, but I still think this would be a competitive team.
  13. The article basically says both players defected, and Gouriel is most likely going to the Yanks.
