We need St. Louis and NY to keep each other in check. Johan Santana pitches tomorrow, so hopefully we'll be able to pad our WC lead a bit more.

I hate these Cubs series at Miller Park. I'll be full of nervous energy, and suppressing the urge to lash out at every idiotic Cub fan I see. I have a feeling there will be a bajillion Cubs fans there, and we'll hear dueling "Lets go Brewers/let's go Cubbies" chants. And then we'll hear about how we can't sell out our own building, and blah blah blah. I wish they sucked.

Oh jeez...I guess it is a good thing that Hall played today.

    RYAN BRAUN!! Thank you!

Pretty much everyone that follows the Brewers on a day-to-day basis knows about Mota's struggles. There are a number of relievers I'd rather see in a two run game. I think it's another example of Yost crossing his fingers, hoping for a good result.

Somebody please tell me why Ned thinks using Mota is a good idea.
  7. bucks2281
    They're killin me tonight. Ugh
  8. bucks2281
You know Yost will justify the platoon by saying: "Bushie pitched great!"
  9. bucks2281
This platoon experiment has got to stop. Look, now Mota's up. Is Ned giving up already?

    Ugh Bush. He's throwing metatballs

    Yeah, Ray!!

There's really no reason why Bayless still has a job. The guy has shredded every ounce of journalistic credibility he ever had (check out his wikipedia page). He's pretty much a disgrace -- nobody respects his opinion.

After this game, I hurried online to buy two seats. There's only a couple left if you want to go. I'm actually really concerned about ticket availability in September...I really want to be a part of this thing.

My pet peeve: When I'm in the right line at a red light and I want to make a right turn on red, there's usually somebody in front of me in the right line who plans on going straight. I can't stand that -- it seems like people don't realize that there is a whole line of cars in back of them who need to turn right. If you need to go straight, use another lane, please.

I don't think they'll sit around for forever if it's raining. They could easily schedule a makeup game on August 25 or 28. Edit: I would want Sheets pitching one more game against STL, so let's hope we could get a game in tonight. And, if we can't get this in tonight, there's a chance Suppan would be pushed back to Monday against the Cubs (no, thank you).

Hey, Pedro: Count me in, please. I promise I'll share the wealth down the line -- I have some spare tickets for the Mets series. I absolutely can't wait for this series!

The Brewers are going to sellout the upcoming homestand. The fever is out of control. We're so going to the playoffs.

Quick random question, I am going to the Aug 2nd game in Atlanta, and if i counted right, CC should be pitching. Is this right? Thanks I believe that's correct. CC on Wednesday, Monday, and then Aug 2
  19. bucks2281
Maybe I should write a letter to the JS, demanding that Suppan returns half of his salary to the team.
  20. bucks2281
If we win tonight, we're sweepin' the series. And winning the Wild Card. Seriously, how exciting would it be to have 2 wins under our belt with CC and Ben pitching Wed/Thu?
  21. bucks2281
Just an FYI, ESPN has chosen the Cubs @ Brewers game for Wednesday Night Baseball on July 30.
  22. bucks2281
A writer from BP suspects either the Brewers or Braves will win the Wild Card. Interesting. Go Marlins, I guess.
  23. bucks2281
Jeff Suppan is due for a victory. Now's the perfect time.
  24. bucks2281
The series next week is going to be one of the most pivotal in Brewers history. That's both exciting and sad. The ticket prices on StubHub are through the roof for a game at Miller Park.

Is Villy the starter tomorrow? Let's hope we get to find out.. Have you heard this anywhere??
