  1. Wild Card leaders! Winning road trip! Huge to win the McClung game with Sheets and Sabathia coming later in the series.
  2. We face the pitcher in the 10th. Come on, Brewers, it's like we only need 2 outs.
  3. Phew, insurance is nice. I'll still be nervous, though.
  4. It's a strong possibility that we'll see Dave Bush in this game. Let's hope we can score in the 10th so we don't have to see Pujols again. Does LaRussa have anybody left on the bench? It looks like he'll need to bat the pitcher third next inning.
  5. Blown save http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  6. Now, there's some $10 million pitching. We're halfway home, boys.
  7. I cannot wait for Yost to justify this move after the game
  8. Wow, one up, one down! Two more, big guy.
  9. Offense is brewing ***crosses fingers***
  10. I have a pair of tickets for the Tennessee at Green Bay preseason game on Thursday, August 28 at 7 pm. They're in Section 127, Row 22 (south 5 yd line). Face value for the tickets is $67 each. I'm looking for about $115 for the pair. I'll definitely be willing to negotiate as I really want to dump these tickets. Send me a PM if you are even a tad interested Also, if anybody has some unneeded tickets for the 12/7 game vs. Houston, please let me know. I'd be glad to take them off your hands.
  11. Half price on all seats, except bleachers. I believe bleacher seats are $10-12.
  12. Do you think we see Bush if Seth only goes 4 or 5? Why not? Bush hasn't pitched since July 10, and won't pitch again until Saturday. If this happens, hopefully it's not because McClung is getting rocked -- hopefully he labors, but still has held STL to two runs. I worry about Bush being wild/throwing up meatballs on Saturday. Houston can hit.
  13. Are you kidding me? I'm so sick of all these gritty battlers. Hello, you're supposed to suck!
  14. I always purchase tickets at the reduced price. I've never had a problem at the gate. I'd assume it's not worth their time to ask questions or create havoc with 40000 coming through the gates.
  15. EI can't broadcast it because ESPN's Sunday Night Rule comes into effect at 5 pm. I think it's interesting that they let local broadcasts air, though.
  16. Yeah the lack of knowledge is ridiculous. Burnett faced the Brewers last month....and the game was on TV.
  17. 87 pitches for Lincecum so far. I like where this game is going.
  18. Hey, lets be glad that we have seven games remaining against San Diego. Talk about a feast...I hope.
  19. Despite the apparant cockiness/smugness of many Cubs fans, they have to start feeling the heat. After all, they are Cub fans, so they're feeling the effects of the inferiority complex. If I were a Cub fan, I'd be looking in the rear mirror -- perhaps even developing a defensive/treading water mentality that we experienced most of last season. Their fans are probably praying that they show up in Milwaukee in two weeks -- if they win less than two games, first place probably evaporates for the time being.
  20. You really can't blame anybody but the Giants in this situation. The Brewers and FSN would have certainly broadcasted the game if it took place 12pm CT (obviously, not an option) or after 6 pm CT (the Giants didn't feel that was viable).
  21. Is that 15 consecutive games that the Brewers have homered?
